Even stay at 8th floor still could hear noise after midnight
Reserved room very very small, I had to upgrade to a larger room at further cost of my own.
The location is very good, only 2 minutes walking distance away from subway station. Also, many restaurants, shopping places are near hotel. Room space is above average in Tokyo. Beds are comfortable. Highly recommendation!
The rooms are definitely on the smaller size, but I mean, it's Tokyo, that's just how things are in urban Japan. The location is incredibly convenient. We were a 2 minute walk from the nearest metro station, which was a very central hub to many of the more popular locations to visit. Also, within a 5 minute walk in any direction were at least 4 convenience stores, and over two dozen bars and restaurants. If you stay here, definitely pay a visit or two to Umegaoka Sushi no Midori, it's about 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The waits were about 30 minutes both times we went, but it was definitely worth it, as the sushi was some of the best we had during our stay, and the restaurant itself was one of the roomier "Japanese style" restaurants we visited. The staff at the b akasaka-mitsuke were also extremely courteous and helpful. We had them help us make two reservations for our trip, and they kept us updated via email as we were out and about. Our stay also included complimentary breakfast for two, which was supplied by the cafe that was connected to the hotel (Cafe Excelsior). It had lots of variety to choose from and was leaps and bounds above the breakfasts which would have been served at North American hotels in the same price range.
Was only actually in the hotel for a short time but liked what I saw. Very nice staff.
Nice location only a few minutes from subway. About 1700 Yen taxi ride, 15 minutes, from central train station (Airport JR train). Nice clean rooms. No Wi-Fi, only wired Internet. Rooms are small. Small breakfast included (coffee/drink and sandwich). Note: Make sure to bring [...] printed out receipt since they could not find my hotel reservation on computer.
The location was what made this hotel amazing. It is in the middle of a peaceful but busy quite district, 2 minute walk from the subway. It is also about 4 minues from the US Embacy if that makes you feel any safer but, the location is already safe enough. The staff is friendly and extermly helpful and knew enough English to help. It would have been nice if the windows all actually looked outside - mine was 12" from another building, but that is normal Tokyo. Also a small buisness center so i could print off my boarding passes. There was also a faint smell of sulfur to the room. To me the htel is definatly something I would recomend to any friend and if I go back to Tokyo, I will stay there for sure!
Reasonable size for a Tokyo hotel room. Very clean, helpful staff, and nice extras inside the room.
