The whole staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They go above and beyond!!! All of them speak very good English. Always available to help. Free laundry The free drinks were always helpful haha

This is a modern hotel with very friendly staff in a lovely area of Tokyo. There is plenty to see and do in this area of Nezu and nearby Yanaka (booked a walking tour through Viator). Make sure that you walk around Ueno Onshi Park. The area gives a feel of old Tokyo, with narrow streets and laneways. Breakfast at the venue was good and the staff can recommend lots of good eating places nearby. We arrived in the morning and the staff were very obliging in looking after our luggage until our walking tour finished in the afternoon.

Amazing staff, very clean, good food. Handy kitchen when travelling on low budget. Would definitely Come back next Time I'm in Tokyo. Very well located for museums ans parks. Hands up ti this lively place !

It was good to be able to stay at this kind and quiet hotel. The fluent English of the hotel staff made it convenient to use and it is very quiet place because it is placed inside the residential area. But there are some bugs(spider?) in the room and bathroom.

Absolutely worth a stay! Hotel Graphy Nezu is a nice, quiet, relaxed and well decorated hotel. Located in a wonderful area in the city. The bar has delicious food and drinks. Double rooms are clean and comfortable. Bath/shower could be a bit larger though. The staff is very enthuastic, happy and friendly.

Quite a large room by Tokyo standards, we appreciated the bathroom which was spotless and offered a pleasant showering experience. They offered one free drink every day, which was really generous! The location is a stroll through Ueno park beside the zoo, about 15 minutes if you walk slowly.

Room was great and the location was amazing--close to all the great museums in Tokyo. Other travelers were also very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and the next time I'm in Tokyo I will definitely stay here!

I stayed in the 6 person mixed dorm room. The price was very reasonable given the location, amnenities, and cleanliness of the hotel. I would strongly recommend this hotel to any backpackers looking for a quiet place which is central to Tokyo.

It's a nice and comfortable place for solo, couples and friends. There is all you need for a room with a fair price, and big enough to rearrange your luggage and what you have bought. Although there's a little distance from the metro (about 5-10 minutes walking from Nezu and Ueno), it's not a big deal for most of us. Near the Ueno Park, if you are considering visiting there, then you could take Graphy into your consideration.

After a 13-hour direct flight and navigating from NRT to Hotel Graphy Nezu, I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff member. Upon check-in, I mentioned that I had to attend an early morning event the next day in West Tokyo. Fatigued, I ensconced myself in the room. I booked a double with a private bath. As a solo traveler, it was cozy, clean, and met my minimalist standards. In addition to the typical room items, it was stocked with disposable slippers, water bottles, a mini refrigerator, and sealed packages with a toothbrush and toothpaste. When I woke up the next morning, to my surprise, the woman from the front desk had printed out directions (with her pointers) to get to West Tokyo and slid them under the door. The times traveling to and from the hotel will vary based on your selected transportation service. e.g. JR pass customers, Ueno station is about a 15 minute walk (one way). One other thing, a single drink is provided (on the house) in the cafe for a certain period in the evening. If you too are a teetotaler, this also includes juice, soft drinks, and tea. The gentleman running the cafe was also friendly.
