The hotel is beautiful, clean, and nice. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The parking was terrible and you had to walk all the way around the building through a driving area to get to the front door. Maybe the hotel should put an entry coming in from the parking lot.

We arrived to the hotel at check in time. We were told the rooms were not available because the hotel was a full capacity. They told us we could use the hotels facilities and wait about 30 minutes for our rooms to be available. The only area to go was the lobby or the pool area. We arrived with my 1,5 & 13year old who were very tired from the drive up from L.A. We opted to head to the pool area . We were then surprised the hotel also rents out its pool area for parties. We had to walk around the lawn area that was filled by party tables and guest then go over to the far end and share the entire pool full of kid from the party. We then go check in 45 minutes later and were advised our reservation was not available as we had asked for 2 queen beds and were given a different room with a single bed and sofa bed. We had to complain to get them to give us one of the two rooms reserved and paid back to its original request. After I complained they said they would switch us the following day because nothing was available that day. We only got apologies and never offered a complimentary compensation like a discount or a free breakfast , a free drink or even a free coffee. They manager apologized endlessly but never went out of her way to see what they could do on their own free will to remediate the error. The staff was friendly but I will never stay again with risk of showing up and getting a very unpleasant surprise. I would not recommend their hotel as they blame their system.

The place is clean, nice location. However the staff was not the best. i called room service to ask for food. I requested a juice and before I was able to start ordering my food, the guy hang up on me. I called back and no one remembered me calling and just gave me the run around. I received a cheeseburger with raw bacon. Overall, every staff member other than the bar tender and man at the door was either rude or in a bad mood. It sucks because it definitely is a great location.

Stayed two nights and have nothing negative to say. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The facility was cleaned, nice pool area. Was definitely worth my money, and would stay there again without a doubt.

The buffet in the breakfast was very cold when a Take it and some food has a lot of salt, no room service when I was there and the bar close very early

Most of the time I stay here cause is away from all the mess on downtown and very comfortable and close to where I'm going

Check in was easy and fast. Room was ample and clean. Bathroom was somewhat awkward as the toilet is behind the door. Shower pressure was great! Staff was phenomenal. The ice machine on my floor wasn't working/disconnect but the hotel staff provided me with a trash can (at my request) full of ice. Big plus! Only downfall is that hotel does not take US dollars; only pesos or credit card.

This hotel is fine, good location and the staff if very nice. Front Desk customer service is okay. They don't honor Free Breakfast that was included in the hotel rate. After a long discussion we were honored with 2 free breakfast. Overall this hotel is good.

It's a friendly and nice hotel. Very clean. Staff is very nice and courteous. The US embassy is really near (walking distance if your good at walking). Clean room, clean gym, clean pool area. For my purposes it was excellent. Except that the jacuzzi next to the pool was not in service; I would have loved to relax in the jacuzzi in the afternoon. I didn't travel with kids, but it even has a small play area. I thought I was traveling by myself, but my family decide to join me, so we used the bed from the sofa: VERY uncomfortable. I should have asked to be changed to a two-bed room; but didn't. The play area is kind of old and not safe for kids to be by themselves; but is a good distraction for the kids with parent supervision. Not much to do near around the hotel, so for fun or partying, plan to drive or take a taxi. I would definitely recommend it for business or just relaxing in the hotel.

I arrived at the hotel and was told they didn't have a room with double queen beds as I had requested, since we are a big family. The AC was broken had to have a repairman fix it. At night when it was time to sleep, when I pulled the cover to the bed the sheets were covered in hair, when I called reception , no one was available to answer me. We had to sleep on top of our beach towels and the same thing for the sofa bed , no extra sheets were provided. Our stay included free daily breakfast, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were told it was free just for one person. Front desk staff is obnoxious. Find any place better to stay than here.

The room was large with a nice big comfortable bed with a nice comforter. I will stay there again

After visiting Legoland and have a tour around San Diego area we stay in this Hotel, Kids like it and food in Mexico is great!!!

This hotel fulfilled my needs. Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was nice with decent linen and a comforter. A/C worked. Staff was helpful. Restaurant was expensive but what hotel restaurant isn't expensive. I would stay there again.

We were hesitant to stay near Otay rather than in the center, but the drive to town is not bad at all. Secure parking behind the hotel; easy access from the road. Big store with everything you want next door (small bottle of water is free, but 1.5 liter bottle is 3 times what you pay in the store). We didn't use the outdoor pool, but it's clean and attractive. We got one free breakfast; the second was about $15. It's a great breakfast with juices, fruits, side dishes, and eggs cooked to order. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is about 3/4 mile from US Embassy, really clean, staff is super friendly and always help you.

Hotel looks great on the outside. Room appeared satisfactory upon first glance. However, the small things were missing. Examples: Clock radio was broken, power cord was cut. Room service had a nice menu but food delivered on walmart china with plastic forks. Tortilla used dark meat instead on chicken breast (based on the price, that would be expected). Internet kept disconnecting, annoying. Club downstairs was loud, annoying also. Power outlets on the floor and not near the nightstand. Towels were extremely course. Soap was nicely package but cheap quality. Front desk seem unaware of how online booking works. Took a long time to check in (with no one in front of me). There are more things but you get the point. Would not stay there again.

This hotel was very nice. The room was very clean but the tv had only a few channels but we hardly watched tv anyway. The food was very expensive and low quality. My suggestion is to eat else where. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. Overall I would stay there again and I would recommend anyone traveling to stay at this hotel.

Perfect location, it's close to the border with easy access.
