The hotel is very nice (just a step from the lake), the food at the restaurant was good. Breakfast was abundant with a lot of varieties. Friendly staff, lovely lake view... but what I love the most was the TAAJ spa!! :-)
After some service-related setbacks on the first day, it was front desk person Mary on the morning of 4/18 who saved the day by offering exceptional and outstanding assistance with scanning and other related assistance with time sensitive contracts I needed to send to the United States. I do so appreciate her friendly and efficient service, as she truly turned our stay towards the positive. Please develop and reward her.
What a beautiful hotel. Loved loved loved the hanging art feature with fairy lights above the welcome desk. The staff were very welcoming at the front desk and went bi-lingual to interact with both me and my partner in English, and also her native tongue with our French friend. The hotel has a very modern, strong oriental feel with, dark slated wood, an Asian garden, bamboo outside, and red, black and gold within the bar. The executive lounge was having renovations so it was moved to the bar. The executive afternoon snack consisted of a lovely chocolate cake, raspberries with mango puree and a coconut wafer, and also portions of halved profiteroles; all of which were lovely. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the Americano that was complimentary. Within the very spacious room, there was a super large and comfy be; the bathroom has both a bath and a shower, and I thought that the over-all simple neutral colour-scheme worked really well. There was a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains and I loved the little balcony to sit and do a little work in the morning with the sunrise - what blessing to be in such a beautiful place. The spa area was simple and effective - I enjoyed using the heated outdoor pool before sitting in the sauna. Breakfast was a fab buffet with something for everyone, lots of space to sit and the front desk held my bag for me whilst I enjoyed dining. An excellent stay and I would thoroughly recommend.
It’s not bad for a four star hotel The bathroom is nice & clean...however, the wall in the room we stayed in was blotchy We took an executive room with access to business lounge, but the lounge was “broken” and there was no access to it The breakfast was ok, table cloth was not that clean Overall it’s ok and the staff is really extra friendly The spectacular view of the lake makes up for all the negativity It’s really breathtaking
Clean, organized Welcoming staff Good coffee and dessert Limited options but well made Big change.. I have been here for 5 years Good for them Free wifi with acceptable speed Comfortable furniture I would come back again
This is my second review of this hotel, I gave it a good review last time and my opinion has not changed This a very well run hotel, the staff are excellent, attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, the breakfast is also very good, the bar is just right, with a good selection of food available . most rooms have a good view of the lake all in all one of the best run hotels I have stayed in We will certainly stay here again when next in the area
As diamond members of Hilton Honours, our review may be a bit biased since we received exceptional treatment, so we cannot speak for all guests. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who, after showing us around the facility, handed us the keys to our room and a map of Evian and its surroundings. The room was nice, clean, comfortable and featured a balcony with a dazzling view upon Lake Geneva. The service was excellent and the staff catered to every wish we had, making us feel very comfortable and well taking care of. Breakfast buffet was rich with all types of food from many different countries, insuring that everyone could find something to their liking. The hotel bar is cozy and offers tasty cocktails and exquisite food. The parking garage is located under the hotel, however, it is not free. In conclusion, the hotel is really well located, being right by the shore of Lake Geneva and in walking distance of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. We truly enjoyed our stay in Evian and would definitely go back.
Stayed three days with my wife and we had a great time. We arrived from Switzerland with the ferry and were able to walk from the dock in few minutes to the hotel. The hotel has a perfect location at the lake. We received a nice upgrade to an executive room on the 6th floor with a balcony. The room was clean and spacious. A wonderful view from the balcony across the lake. Breakfast was good and we had a tasty dinner in the evening. Every evening we enjoyed good drinks and cocktails at the bar. Gabriel the bar chef was awesome he took every evening extremly good care of us. He was always smiling and is definitly a star. Also Valerie the manager at the front desk was very customer orientated and helped us with directions and had good suggestions what to visit in the city. The SPA was also nice, we enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Overall we had wonderful time and we can definitely recommend the hotel!
Very comfortable. Good Hospitable & Helpful Staff. Beautiful Location. Room Facilities were Very Good. Meeting Hall we used was excellent with all the required facilities. Gym, Spa and swimming facilities were also good.
We booked three nights here after a week with our family in Samoens The welcome was very good and we had a n excellent view despite only booking a standard room The hotel is a typical Hilton and has the benefit of parking albeit at a cost which is a real benefit in Evian The breakfast was ok when the hotel was busy but only average when it had low occupancy We didn't eat in as there are good eateries nearby
