Arrived around 6:30pm after a long drive. Pleasantly surprised to find "Happy Hour" (from 5pm-8pm) with wine, beer, soda, and snacks. Great way to be greeted after a long drive. Rooms were good size and clean. Also there were 4 restaurants in walking distance - we went to Outback Steakhouse.

Sunny courtyard pool and hot tub. Other hotels in Valdosta were next to parking lots and the sun blocked part of the day. Wine, beer, chips and salsa complimentary happy hour. Great breakfast with fresh fruit, English muffins, even Nutella Extra touches means this is our choice from now on

Odd that no microwave in the room. would be nice to reheat the "barely warm" coffee that was in the lobby. Otherwise, a clean, comfortable room. Front desk check in young lady was like talking to a textbook. very blah.

Stayed at this hotel while visiting Valdosta State College. It is a bit run down. Could use some updates. They have done the best they can with what they have. The room was very clean. Really, the only problem is the walls are paper thin! When our a/c wasn't running, I could hear someone taking off their jewelry in the next room. And of course, people are not considerate, so doors were constantly slamming. It was quiet from about 11:00pm - 6:30am. Then, I heard everything. Now, my room was on the first floor, with a sliding door to the pool, which has tables around it. People were eating breakfast our there, so I could easily hear them. Had I been on a higher floor or the other side of the hotel, it might have been better. I would stay here again for convenience, but I would bring my sound machine.

We checked in and then found out the pool was closed. It would have been nice to know this days before arriving so we could switch hotels. There’s not exactly a lot of options when searching for a new hotel at 5pm same day at other area hotels. Our kids were so upset. Thank goodness we only stayed one night and then got the heck out of there. The rooms need a lot of updating and are Not the cleanest. The bathtub was gross. Parts of the walks were peeling. It was just not a good experience and we will never return.
