location was amazing , great hospitality and was very clean. the only thing i did not like hotel was very old

Nice and very clean !I stay there every year ! Breakfast also great !

The hotel did not have individual AC in the rooms. They have a central system and the air conditioning had not been turned on yet , it was hot outside and there was no way to cool down the room, if you opened the balcony door there was no breeze and it was LOUD! I had the worst night sleep ever there. In a 5 star hotel I expect to have an air conditioner in my room so that I can control the temperature. They MUST have individual AC in each room for the price you are paying When I said something, I was offered an "upgrade" from the 6th floor, king size bed, with a large veranda to a 4th floor room with no veranda and queen sized bed, for 150 euros extra. The furniture was so old it was grungy, I had the staff cover the sofas with sheets because I didn't want my child lying them. Do not PREPAY the room, otherwise you will be stuck there and be miserable. I love Thessaloniki, but this hotel ruined my trip there as I could not sleep due to the heat and noise and I was tired and grumpy all day due to lack of sleep in this place.

They have a really great staff, and a wonderful breakfast on the roof with views of Thessaloniki and the Gulf.

We love this hotel, coming back after 3 years, but were disappointed in the valet staff. We drove up to the hotel after being on the road for 4 hours, unloaded 3 large suitcases and 3 carryon bags, and not one of the 3 valets came to assist us. My husband had to park the car down the block, so my daughter and I schlepped these bags into the hotel, checked in and proceeded to the elevator for our room while the 3 valets looked on. This lack of customer service is contrary to the Greek way. Electra Palace, what's up?
