We didn't stay at this hotel, only used its SPA. Professional service, clean, quiet. They have a special discount during noon time. Very good hot Sauna after the massage. Free tea and very recommended for relaxation.

Apparently the 4☆ comes from the Tor hotel group.Clean.Prison like bedrooms facing a wall.Noisy airco.A diet to get inside shower but you'll get bruises anyway.Breakfast nothing special. An old couple was literally shouted by a kitchen guy and put out of the breakfast table. Pain of electricity at breakfast room. No, it's not Africa. Plenty of cheaper and certainly more welcoming hotels nearby.

Excellent location, right in the city centre. All shops and most tourist attractions could be found within its vicinity. And just a street away from the sea. The staff at the front desk were accommodating to our requests. First we were given a room on 4th floor and right outside the elevator. We didn’t like it as it’s a bit too noisy despite the double glazed windows. The next day, we were upgraded to the junior suite on 6th floor. Better and bigger room however the air con was slightly noisier than the first room. Breakfast options remained more or less the same throughout our 4night stay. They could do better, I think. We checked out at 12:30 but we had the whole day to explore the city till our night flight. So by the end of the afternoon, we went back to the hotel for a shower at the spa. That’s a bonus because we definitely needed one due to the summery heat. If we were to return to the city, this hotel is definitely on our list.

One of the best hotel in Thessaloniki. Perfect area, only a few minutes walk from Ladadika, White tower and shopping centre. Nice and clean atmosphere. Nice and tasty breakfast. Special thanks to the night shift receptionist who was more than welcomed to help us with anything we wanted. Highly recommended

Just back from a 4 night stay here. Didn't arrive until 10.30pm due to a flight delay. Taxi from airport is a 20euro flat rate (the driver told us). Easy check in, our case taken to our room for us. We had 301, an internal room with no view, but, this was fine, as it was very quiet, and the hotel is on a busy main road, and to be honest we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Room/City tax is 3 euros per room per night. Brekky is fab... Meat/cheese/tom/olive feta, cereals, toasts, jams, a bit of hot brekky. Latte/cappuccino is extra. We used the spa for a scrub down and massage... Well worth it... As we had done a Lot of walking in our time here. Room has very decent air con, safe, tcmf, TV, comfy bed.... The shower has amazing power!... But has to be climbed into... So not good for less mobile people. Toiletries replaced daily. Well within walking distance to the old district, the port area... And everywhere really. Check out is 12. We left our case for an hour, went out for a coffee on the port, came back, asked reception to get us a taxi... It was there within 5 mins... Excellent service all round from the hotel. Highly recommended by us.

Location is good enough breakfast is good . Rooms also clean .. -Small rooms. -Some of the room without any views.... the window is just to feel that... -The view over the window is the square building. I didn't like it.

A hotel built in the heart of the city, with perfect accessibility to any area and sight nearby. A perfect breakfast, almost 5* one, clean room and nice design. Staff happy and courteous. The room that we were initially offered, however, was like a sauna; even with the a/c on, it had 27degrees! The explanation was that there were various tubes and outlets out of the room and we were offered a change. The other room was fine, but the bathroom had not window or fan, meaning that there was no ventilation. A bit overrated for its offering.

Having never been to Greece we were not sure what to expect but were very pleased to stay eat the City Hotel. Not only is it central to all sights but it is also near to an amazing variety of cafés, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has been modernised with an attractive woodland theme for the wallpaper. Our room was small, as was the bathroom, but it was kept immaculately clean by the wonderful staff. It did not have a view but that was not an issue for us as being at the back it was away from traffic. The air con was very necessary and welcome but seemed to be a little challenged at times! It felt like it was a bit tired and overworked! (Only a minor point as we were glad to have it at all) The staff were helpful and friendly, especially in the Green Room at breakfast. They were attentive yet not hurrying us to move on quickly. The breakfast choices were many and varied. We appreciated having fruit, yogurt, bread, eggs, cheeses, cake as well as fruit juices, teas and coffee. We travelled with Jet2 on a city break and would definitely recommend it.

City hotel is extremely well situated if you want to visit Thessaloniki for business or for pleasure. İt is very closely located, literally minutes if walking to public transportation, aristotheulos square, restaurants area and to the sea. The staff is well trained and kind. Breakfast is adequate . Rooms are small but clean and useful.

We stayed for four nights in a 'junior suite'. The room was OK and quite spacious though the bathroom needs some attention. The AC worked fine so it was a good temperature. Furnishing is a bit plastic but OK. A main issue is that there is no double-glazing so it was noisy all night - next to a crossing of busy streets. Breakfast was mad and not a good experience. The staff do their best but the breakfast area is just not big enough to accommodate everybody. They keep running out of plates, bowls, spoons etc. So, a great location, but if we ever came to Thessaloniki again, we would look for somewhere else.
