"My family and I recently stayed at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center for spring break. We traveled with three young children (ages 3, 3, and 4), and while the resort is undeniably beautiful, our overall experience was extremely disappointing—especially for the price. The property itself is stunning, with indoor waterfalls, lush landscaping, and unique water features. We were especially interested in the indoor boat ride, but it was far too crowded for us to enjoy. While the atmosphere is impressive, the experience does not match the cost. The SoundWaves water park was just okay—not nearly as impressive as expected given the premium price. We’ve had a much better experience at Great Wolf Lodge for significantly less money. Our room was small and not family-friendly. There was no microwave. The bathroom was especially frustrating—very cramped, with barely enough space to maneuver between the toilet and shower. What was most disappointing is that nothing was included in our very expensive two-night stay. The food was average at best and extremely overpriced. We dined at Stax and Old Hickory, and honestly, both could have been skipped. The only reasonably priced option we found was the ice cream shop. On top of that, parking was an additional $37 per day and there was a $30 daily resort fee that didn’t seem to include any meaningful amenities Overall, this experience felt extremely overpriced and underwhelming. I would not return or recommend this resort! "
