Dirty unclean rooms, toilet floor has dust. The phone has lot of accumulated dust. The wash basin had black patches all over it- basically they were black mold from underneath the tap- the big black mold chunk broke from its location from underneath the tap and floated around all over the platform. Black mold behind the toilets and lot of black mold in the bath rub. The cleaning standards are very poor. They didn’t understand as I complained and they gave me a different room- even that has the same issue. I spend 2 hours just getting the only basics cleaned.

The hotel is well kept and incredibly clean. The gym was clean and equipment was easy to use. The bedroom and bathroom were a great size and ideal for a business trip again, incredibly clean. The food, I had squid and it was quite chewy and the service was a little slow considering the restaurant was quiet. It took two hours for me to order a starter, side and dessert and eat it. I don’t think that should have taken 2 hours, as mentioned service of taking plates away was a little slow. The staff were very pleasant though. I would definitely stay here again.

The first room I was goven was stinking, full of dust and cobwebs it was disgusting. Had to get moved to another room which was a little better but still dirty. Thankfully I only had to stay here for one night.

We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Puckrup. We enjoyed the pool and the gymn, the staff were very friendly and helpful. On the negative side we were woken on the first morning at 6:45 by a barrel delivery outside our window. I also had to pull hair out of the shower plug hole before using it. The food was good and there was a great choice at breakfast. We enjoyed evening meals being half board, but we felt 3 nights was enough of the same menu (although there was a choice) as we'd tried about everything from the menu. The beds were comfortable and the hotel is set in attractive grounds. We would return on another occasion.

We ask for a walk-in shower. We were given a room right the end of the building on the second floor. My husband had to walk a great distant to the room. Receptionist said we should have stated ‘accessibility’ when booking and then we may have got e near the lift,! This is the first time we have done a booking on-line as we are older people. Surely putting a walk-in shower that distance from a lift is stupid. However, the staff, the breakfast and the place was very good.
