Stayed 5 nights room only basis last week. Very pleased with quality of the bedroom itself. Clean, comfortable and spacious with good blackout curtains. Nice range of toiletries provided & a free safe. All the staff were friendly & efficient. We were delighted with the location & we think it will suit all sorts of people. Its in a retail area-if you are a shopper there are 3 shopping centres a few minutes away. If you are interested in using public transport the bus station is just 5 minutes down the hill as is the tram. Things to do include the fabulous market, again just down the hill-check out the fish market on the lower level. There are great counters to eat and drink at. Look out for the blue & white tiled shell fish section. The market closes at 3pm so try it at lunch time. There's also a fab tiny ice cream stall at ground level. Packed on Sundays but great atmosphere. The tram to Laguna, the original and charming capital, is a nice day out. Tram only costs €1.35 each way takes about half an hour to get there, interesting route in its own right but Laguna's historic centre is well worth a visit-loads of shops, Tapas Bars & restaurants as well. We ate in the hotel one evening and were impressed by the quality of the meal. There are however plenty of restaurants and snack bars in the vicinity as well. If you turn left as you exit the hotel there's a Tapas Bar by the very handy taxi rank. If you continue on round the back of the block it opens out and there are about 6 places to eat at just there and that's 2 minutes away if even that. Special mention to Claudia's which has lovely Estrella Galicia, burgers & bocadillos. The football stadium is probably a 10 minute walk from the hotel. And the hotel itself had Premier League games on the TV in the bar. We liked the glass lifts & the roof top terrace though didn't actually use the jacuzzi. So, a comfortable well located hotel it's really just on the fringe of the city centre & facilities like the Auditorium if you are going to a show.
After a medical evacuation from a cruise and a hospital stay, we were booked here by our port agent until we could catch a plane back to the US. The staff could not have been nicer. They accommodated several flight changes by allowing us to continue on for a second night and a get late check out when many of Tenerife's hotels were booked solid. Available to answer a myriad of questions, printing travel documents, suggesting good restaurants close-by, and excellent English skills were all outstanding staff features of this comfortable, modern hotel. The location is good, too. Highly recommended.
Closer to the principal Mall and cortes Ingles Store, Restaurants around , bus station terminal 1 block away from the hotel, nice hotel nice environment, 20 minutes away from the Los Rodeos Tenerife North Airport. % minutes away from the night life street La Noria
Excellent hôtel. All was good. we will back with family. Excellent location to visite Santa Cruz and tenerife. Said was very hepfull, speack french. Réception very great room and view fantastic. Cortés ans carrefour by walk
I don't even have a detail I've not appreciate in this hotel, all was totally perfect. A king size bed very comfortable, a spacious bathroom well equiped, an attentive and charming staff. Absolutely amazing.
Comfortable 4 star room and very good breakfast. Wide choice for breakfast and all off the best quality. Next to 2 shopping malls, close to the swimming pool on the coast, the auditorio and only a short walk from the old center. Easy walk from and to the bus station. Shopping mall 3 de Mayo has a supermarket in the basement and a self service where you can eat all you want for only € 7,5. I'll be back Don't forget to go to the roof top for the view.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights as a couple. From check in we found the staff extremely professional and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure our questions were answered whether about the hotel, the local facilities, dining in or dining out. We also had an unfortunate episode in which one of us fell ill and had to be rushed to hospital in the early hours of the morning. The staff were amazing and did the best they could to assist us. In addition to the staff, the hotel was very clean, of a high spec and comfortable. The lifts are glass-fronted so you get a great view of the city as you go up to your room. Our only disappointments were that we had a twin room and the beds weren't joined together so kept moving apart, and that two of the side-light switches in our room seemed slightly loose. Apart from this we can highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here last year and came back this year for one night (on our way to La Gomera). We had booked a standard room but were upgraded to a juniour suite, That was great service! The rooms have good size, and the service is good. The hotel is located a little bit outside the citysenter, but it is easy to walk to the restaurants.
This hotel is real value for money. It has good location, nice and clean rooms. No down sizes for me. Lift is very cool. It is from the outside of the building so while using it you have great city view.
Booked this hotel after finding a fab deal, and reading the great reviews. Stayed for a week, check in was quick and easy. The hotel staff are friendly. As there were only two of us we booked a basic double room, there was nothing basic about the room at all. It was a big room, with a modern bathroom, the TV has a good choice of channels which can be viewed in English. The beds were a great size and very comfortable. Air con was a great addition to arrive back to after an afternoon on the rooftop or out and about. The rooftop is great if you have time to relax as well as sightsee. It is open from 7.30 - 21.30 everyday and is a great place to rest, chill in the jacuzzi and look out at the wonderful view of santa Cruz. I did feel that a bar would have made all the difference up there and perhaps made me stay a bit longer. Breakfast at this hotel was great too - one of the best I've ever had. Good selection of cereals, fruit, cold meats,.hot breakfast and drinks. The homemade cakes and puddings were delicious too. Overall I would definitely stay in this hotel, it is in a great location within the hustle and bustle of the city - yet the hotel offers a chilled out setting.
