We stayed here for the second time. Previous experience was 8 years ago. This time we believe the hotel improved a lot. We stayed in a club room and gad access to the club which means great good and drinks between 6 and 8 pm an coffee/thee with delicious sweets between 3 and 5pm. The breakfast is at the poolside and the food and service are simply excellent. All the staff is super helpful and friendly. The spa us also good with very helpful staff. We will certainly come back soon!
Easy transfer from airport (30 mins approx), lovely location on the Costa Adeje, 2 swim pools (1 heated), well equipped spa, able to walk out onto a promenade at the back of the hotel with restaurants and shops , helpful staff (especially at breakfast as i requested 'free from' foods). Lunch time pool restaurant was also good. Room was large with a balcony. Hired a car for one day and drove around the whole island easily.
I stayed at this hotel the beginning of March . Overall a really lovely hotel , in a quiet setting close to Adeje which is a short bus trip away approx 8 mins . The hotel is close to a lovely promenade walk which takes you I believe all the way to los Cristianos . Breakfast was good offering a vast range of options . The staff were very friendly and helpful . However , the lady concierge and sadly didn’t catch her name sent myself and my elderly mother on “ a wild goose chase “ I asked if there were any clothing retail shops close by and she laughed sarcastically and said we would have to travel to los Christianos ! I subsequently discovered that there are two shopping centres one in Costa Adeje And one at Playa del duque near the beachfront ! When booking your hotel room be aware that the standard rooms overlook a hotel next door . The rest overlook the gardens and pool with distant sea views . Plenty of swimming pools and sun lounges . Nice large hotel room with lovely bathroom. However the bed was so hard I had to ask them to swap the mattress over the first night also the beds in my room I felt were of poor quality for a 5 * hotel . Overall a lovely relaxing break just wish they would invest in some decent quality beds .
This was our first visit to this Sheraton and we stayed for two weeks. The hotel is situated at the end of Playa Adeje just before getting to La Caleta. We booked a club room with club room access which provided unlimited soft drinks, nespresso coffee and tea during the day. At 3pm there were cakes which were very good. At 6pm there were savoury canapes which were also excellent along with wine and spirits. There are several restaurants on site which we found to be reasonably priced and of good quality. We were glad to have the club room which had its own terrace outside. There was a separate dining area for breakfast for club rooms. The room was of a reasonable size overlooking the sea on the top floor with comfortable beds and excellent pillows. The balcony though not large was big enough to sit on and got the sun from lunchtime onwards. Unlimited water is provided in the bedroom. There is a safe and a fridge for your own drinks. Turndown service is provided in the evening with chocolate left on the bed. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with lots of toiletries. It also had a separate toilet. Bathrobes were provided. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day. There are plenty of books around in different languages. The staff were all lovely and helped in so many ways especially with our wheelchair often pushing me up any slopes. We could not fault the staff. There is an underground car park with plenty of slots which was good as we did not have to find a parking space. I would return to this hotel.
Having booked a short break to the sum, my wife and I choose the Sheraton. We requested as per viewers recommendation a quiet room on a high floor. We were very disappointed on arrival to be given initially a ground floor with twin beds. We requested a change mainly around the beds. We were given a double but close to reception. This is where we encountered numerous problems. At 6.50 am every morning we were woken by furniture being moved around in the buffet restaurant and people talking loudly. We then had the problem of our toilet constantly filling up throughout the day and night. This took two requests to get fixed. Lastly our room phone kept flashing. This could not be fixed. Perhaps I should have given two stars but Room tip. DO NOT HAVE ROOM 148. It is noisey and has a tiny balcony that does not get the sun.
This is a large resort with a wide range of amenities - so well suited to people of all ages and tastes. We were there for a week, staying in a large, very comfortable room with a terrace. Despite its size, the hotel manages to maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were particularly impressed with the Kids Club - which our three-year old grandson loved. It offered a lot more than 'just a place to park kids' - the kids enjoyed great activity sessions and practised all sorts of arts and crafts. The restaurants and bars were all very good. I particularly enjoyed the spa. I would certainly go again
Spent 10 days in the Sheraton La Caleta hotel in February a lovely hotel with excellent pools and gardens with plenty of sun lounges we did not like the dinner buffet in the restaurant it is okay for breakfast but not for dinner staff on reception was very helpful also the breakfast staff we think was under pressure due to the amount of people waiting for a table
The Sheraton is situated between La Caleta, a small harbour village with lots of restaurants etc, and Playa El Duque, both of which are an easy 10-15 walk along the front. The hotel itself has very pleasant gardens and two pools, one heated, and a large sea water pool complex with lots of sunbeds, etc, with a small children's pool and play area away from the main pools. The room we had was pretty standard for a hotel of this star rating, not much of a view though as we on the side with a view of the hotel opposite. We found all the staff to be very helpful and had a very nice relaxing stay. Only a few minor gripes, one paper cup each for the tea making facilities, would have thought a hotel of this standard could do better! Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, both hot and cold, but was a bit of a scrum at busy times. There are three restaurants in the hotel but we mainly liked to try some of the local fare.
We returned to this hotel a second time with our 5 Yr old and had a lovely week again! Staff all so helpful and friendly. We were given a lovely room (148) on arrival but unfortunately our daughter sleeps early so we asked to move rooms as the bar music was too loud for us. This was all done very quickly and efficiently and room 224 was lovely and quiet! The rollaway beds are proper mattresses not fold up beds so are very comfy. The location is fab, with a little supermarket, bars and restaurants behind. Easy walk to Playa El Duque and shops or La Caleta village in the opposite direction. Breakfast as always was wonderful, Kids club was great, swimming pools and staff great (although I have raised with management that the kids pool needs to be re-tiled as some were coming loose!) Highly recommended hotel and location.
We had a lovely week at the Sheraton. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was beautifully appointed. All the staff in this hotel were extremely obliging and were always pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The gardens are beautifully laid out and the sun beds are not squashed together as in a lot of hotels. We ate in the Japanese restaurant which was excellent. The only criticism we have was that the breakfast was a little limited. Otherwise we had a wonderful break and I am sure we will return.
