The staff was polite and helpful, the view from the room was outstanding, the food was good. The only issue was the noise made by the chairs in the dining room from the 14th floor but if you wake up before breakfast and go to bed after dinner, it is not an issue.

What I liked: - room size - comfortable large beds - ocean view - poached eggs - nice staff - welcome drink in the fridge - safe What could be better: - decor ceilings and walls in corridors were looking very old and tired with stains and peeling paint - gym (this gym is of 3 star) only one treadmill, very few weights (looks like most were stolen) - dirty dishes (on 3 days) - food variety I would say this hotel rates more as 3.5 stars.

The beautiful view of the roaring ocean is a huge plus for this hotel. I returned after 10 years, but unfortunately, nothing has changed for the better – the €3 per day fee for renting a kettle is outrageous! The hotel is worn by time and only pretends to be 5-star. So, I'm not lowering my rating further out of sentimentalism.
