This Hotel is a Diamond . Every aspect is top of the line. The rooms , the staff , the food . We travel to Israel 2-3 times a year and will go to the Indigo every time . Very friendly , accomodate all wishes . A MUST GO .
Short version: 1.Hotel lies to us. 2. no shower light for 3 days. 3. rude 4. thin walls 5. you have to read this one - hotel owner blames us for stealing (the huge service carts which you can't put in any car) If you don't have time, just skip to 4, it will sum it up for you.. 1. Came in for business, and after signing for the room asked for an extra key for my wife (which came along with a 2 month old). The morning after we get a call to the room from reception telling us we got a free upgrade. Went down to talk and apparently they lied and wanted to move us and charge us extra for another person - apparently there was a miscommunication in the reservation, so instead of letting us know they lied. 2. First night we asked the reception to send someone to fix the light in the shower. Each day we asked and even the night reception were surprised that no one came, and that we might have the do not disturb sign on the door. We made sure to remove it the next day. Still no light. On check out, the receptionist said that they came every day but the sign was on for 3 days... 3. On check out, one of the hotel managers were there blaming us for breaking all the rules of the hotel by staying with a baby, and that we hid the baby when we came in (sure, with a huge stroller that can barely get in the trunk). 4. the walls are so thin, we could hear the next door guest making his morning coffee. 5. After paying, I took the service cart and started to take luggage to the car. While doing the last round and placing things in the car, the hotel manager comes and take the cart. I asked: "are you the owner" (naively thinking it might be a good idea to talk to him), he said yes, and while going he says: "you know that there is a detection device on the cart, if you take it a few km away, it will call the police". I tell him I was just about to put it back when I'm done and he says: "yea, you can't even put it in your car's trunk." --the guy was dead serious. i just took my car and never looked back.
Fine if you are just on a short stop and have meeting nearby. Rooms are very small and insufficient light generally. Frustratingly you cannot turn off the underlight in the bathrooms so light pours in to the bedroom (glass separating wall). Breakfast was poor in terms of both quality and choice.
Very good beds, very clean and great service, we went for a wedding and looked for a hotel in that area , and this was a great choice when you are looking for comfort and nice looking hotel, they have a very nice swimming pool on the roof with a bar, and a good Spa as well
nice rooms, clean, great swimming pool on the roof and great view. Free bus shuttles from the hotel to beach. Yummy breakfasts. Modern style, helpfull front desk. There is a gym. Public transport and bike station available near from the hotel. Train station also close
This is a fairly modern hotel in the Diamond District of Tel Aviv, close to many shops and restaurants. There is a resataurant inside the hotel itself. Reception is friendly and efficient. The room was small but well appointed with all necessary amenities.
Nice hotel location, very near diamond district. Infinity pool on roof with large sundeck. 10 min walk to train station. easy cab ride to Tel Aviv activities. Service was excellent, while we were checking in brought our bags to our room.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, expecialy the reception staff, a special thanks to the lovely and helpful Paulina who will go the extra mile. Courtesy taxi good idea becuase you are quite isolated from the main action.
I stayed in this hotel for 12 days in May 2017. Lovely place, great location for the city, away from the crowds, with some restaurants and bars around. Most important were the staff. Friendly, hard working and honest. It was a pleasure.
I had to go to Tel Aviv during a high occupancy period in April and the places I have stayed in the past were charging premium prices. I looked online and found Hotel Indigo. It is a boutique hotel, used by hi-tech companies for visitors, and located in an upcoming and coming neighborhood. Near restaurants, bars, across the street from a very nice wine and liquor store. Near the Diamond Center. Next to a wonderful Arab hummus shop. I don't speak or read Hebrew and everyone I met was very helpful. One day I decided to walk to Tel Aviv, over a bridge. About a mile from the hotel. Beautiful area. My only hesitation is the hotel's restaurant had a limited breakfast buffet, but it was during a special holiday so I think they had to restrict the menu. Restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly! My room was nicely decorated, ample size, clean, and had a nice view of northern Tel Aviv. I would go back. Good value.
