I visited the hotel for the breakfast only and had a great experience. not only was the food top quality, but the service was great too. The staff were attentive and offered a wide selection of foods and even brought drinks to our table without us asking. I was full until dinner after visiting their buffet!
Herod's Hotel was beautiful!!! The view was spectacular!!! There is a jogging track right down on the beach. Lots of people jogging, walking. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very, very good!!! Lots of choices of salads, breads, fish, cheese and of course, great coffee!!!
rooms not clean enough, no parking - the only parkin next to the hotel is 3 floors down with no elevator that works and cost 60 NIS per day. the food is bad!!! either way you won't touch the food cause the buffet looks realy bad...
Very cool, funky modern hotel at the heart of Tel Aviv beach side. The view from the rooms are amazing with both view of the beach and the city. The restaurant is designed as a lovely orange orchard with stunning view of the beach. Staff are excellent and offered high standard of service. Specially Albert, the duty manager who was simply outstanding when we checked in early morning on 21Feb18. He made sure we're accommodated when our room wasn't available then. Also Sandra who has helped me and my group on Sun, 25Feb and Alex, from the hotel business lounge on the 17th floor was also exceptional not only to me but to all the guests in the loung e. He was very attentive to all.
stayed here again its been recently renovated again lobby really nice got a deluxe room clean and very tastefully decorated nice balcony breakfast superb one of the best in tel aviv on the beach just a great hotel
Because if a strike of the pilots I was transfered and allowed to stay at Herods. That soften the blow to not being able to fly out. At first glance it looked nice and the lobby was inviting and good looking Also it’s close to the beachfront and boulevard. The room was oké but the bathroom especially the cement between the tiles were dirty also around the bath screen the edges were black of dirth or bacteria grows it looked horrible. The WiFi in the room was on and off. The balcony was subject to decay They need to renovate the Hotel. Staff was friendly except ine lady receptionist who obviously didnt have her day she was not friendly at all. Its a shame for the Leonardo group that owns the Hotel. Its time to renovate the hotel The rooms are bot worth 4 Star in this shape.
Very welcoming staff.great location near the beach and the port is not far to walk to.very good breakfest.enjoied every moment. The hotel has a great spa and you can take special spa and stay deals for couples
Beginning with Sandra's friendly greeting at the front desk, Herods has been a wonderful experience! The room is very well-appointed and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is perfect! The Med is right there if you want to go to the beach, or shops, cafes, and restaurants are a short two block walk away. We highly recommend this location!
My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for a 3 day break and found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. The setting is fantastic as it is adjacent to the beach and has wonderful views of the beach and marina from many rooms and public spaces including the breakfast room. The beach - even in February - has a really dynamic vibe with people of all ages jogging, cycling, playing beach volleyball, paddle-boarding and swimming from early morning to late in the evening. Numerous bars and restaurants are located on the boardwalk running for miles along the beach. There is a dedicated cycle path along the beach all the way to Jaffa port - we used the municipal bikes which have stations in numerous beach and city locations and are cheap to use. Also a fine open air 50 metre public pool next to the hotel - expensive to use at NIS 69 per person but it covers a full day and is open from 6.00am to 9.00pm. Easy walk into the city where there are many fine small and local bars/restaurants. Great base for a day trip to Jerusalem and Bethlehem (worth the extra expense of booking with an established operator to ensure decent transport and quality guides). The main lobby and dining area are wonderfully light and airy but the rooms, balconies and other common parts are looking a bit tired. The hotel pool (closed when we visited) seems tucked away in rather pokey corner with limited surrounding areas. Functional fitness area. The location of Herods helps override any physical downside, and as long as it trades at a discount to it's more modern neighbours we would thoroughly recommend a visit.
The hotel is located in Tel Aviv on the beach front. I had a room with the balcony and wonderful view to the see. Breakfast is very good. The staff is really very polite and pleasant. I am highly recommending this hotel.
