Hosted by Flying Squirrel Cottages, this singular vacation home on Lake Hickory offers stunning 270-degree views from its peninsula location. The quiet cul-de-sac features a landscaped lawn and parking for 3 vehicles. Enjoy the large covered porch for morning coffee or evening wine. Inside: 2 Queen, 1 Futon, 2 Full, 4 Twin, and 1 Twin Trundle Bed. Kayaks provided for calm water adventures; boat rentals nearby. La Peninsule is cozy yet close to restaurants, bars, stores, and parks.

Our home is situated at the end of a quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are all established and respectful.

Minutes from a boat rental company that can cater all sizes of marine craft. A couple of kayaks will be provided for daytime adventure, the coves have calm waters for beginner adventurists. Swimming right off the dock is always an option as well.

Paddleboard sessions are available as well.

Riverbend Park is within a 15 minute commute with beautiful walking trails that wind in and out of the trees through open fields and next to Lake Hickory. Within a 30 minute drive we have Rocky Face Park which has 6 miles of moderate to strenuous trails.

Winery's, Breweries, and Distilleries are popular attractions within a short distance.

Lake Hickory while picking up in popularity is still mostly natural landscape with beautiful views.



The garage will not be accessible.

Our home is nestled at the end of a cul de sac.
We have 2 exterior cameras that are only accessed if security concerns arise. They focus on the front door and back yard. The focal points do not touch screened areas or interior in order to maintain the privacy of our guests.

Bedroom 1 = queen + twin + futon
Bedroom 2 = 3 twins + trundle
Bedroom 3 = queen
Bedroom 4 = full
Bedroom 5 = full

Bedrooms 1 & 2 temps are controlled by mini-split unit and remote control in the bedroom. Please set to 78 in summer and 62 in winter when you leave.

Our property is situated on the water so please watch young children closely and stay aware when near the waters edge.
