Do not go!!! It’s disgusting. The people are rude. Found dead fish on beach. Could not check in until 5 pm. Also got kicked off beach due to a wedding. The food was cold. One good thing about it is it does have a tiki bar outside thank god. 😤
Overall hotel was nice. Our sheets were not clean. Had a dirty tissue and what looked like scans in out bed. Called room service. Was less then happy and a bit irretated to come and change sheets.
The beach was nice and the outdoor bar. However considering this hotel was an old Holiday Inn and built a long time ago the rooms are in desperate need of updating. The room smelled terribly mildew which housekeeping did bring a dehumidifier. However for the price the property did not meet my expectations. Will not be returning.
need better staff in restaurant slow slow slow dirty rooms needs total remodel over priced
We picked this hotel for it's great location and a beach right outside our room. The location was perfect. The room was in poor condition. The bathroom had a cracked sink, many broken tiles, and wasn't exactly clean. We found bugs in our duffle bags that were sitting on the floor. We had planned to enjoy the hotel beach but when we took a look at the beach there was a large giant dead fish that had not been removed. The pier right next to the hotel is being worked on with a large barge and heavy machinery making constant construction noise and a very unpleasant view. This was a family vacation with two children. Our room looked right out to the beach bar where the live music played very loudly very late into the night. Our kids tried playing on the beach one evening but were upset by drunk men talking to them....they are 9 and 12 year old girls! The pool is run down and incredibly hot. The breakfast was the best thing about our entire stay. We actually stayed away from the hotel as much as possible and enjoyed the beach at the state park every day instead.
