The owner was very nice and helpful. I would've liked a little bit bigger beach area by the water for my grandson, but the water was a little too cold for him anyhow. Plenty of sand area though for him to play in. It may be a little outdated, but felt very homey and had the things we needed. We had a great time with a beautiful view. Will definitely go back there again.
It was clean but very dated. No beach area at all. Not horrible for a quick stay but I will not be returning.

No actual beach but right on the water. There are steps into the water and then it's sandy and relatively shallow pretty far out. Cabins were cute and clean but we brought our own bedding, pillows, towels and toiletries. Really glad we did. The beds sagged horribly. Probably would choose another place for that reason alone, but for a last minute getaway, this was the only option we had, and I'm glad we went.
It’s in a very beautiful spot on the lake. Upkeep of the landscaping and maintenance/updating of the buildings is lacking. There were dishes, utensils and the like available, but they were not very clean. Lots of dust throughout.
We reserved for 3 but, there were only linens for 1! Dead bugs around the windows! Dirty dishes in the cupboard! The furnace wouldn't come on and the only blankets were thrown on the floor of the closet!! Would never stay there again! I would rather pay a bit more to be comfortable!
It was a very nice place the owner was very nice also had no problem finding the place
nice location between Oscoda and tawas, friendly owners, great lake view and private beach. However, our room was outdated and dirty. This was all that was available the weekend that we were planning our trip so we had to deal with it. I wouldn't have any complaints if the price was lower. We did not have enough towels, the beds were not comfortable. We brought our own linens and changed theirs out for ours and even added sheets to the sofa and chair in the living room. We wiped down the dining room table and it looked like my husband polished his shoes with the cloth! it also had a kinda funky smell. I wouldn't be so harsh if it were 60-80/night. We were charged 125, waaaaay too much for the lack of cleanliness.
