We originally were going to stay one night on the way to Auckland, but we had the room with a jetted tub and it was amazing and stayed an extra night. The prices were great ($105 a night) as it was off season (early March). The tub fit 2 of us side by side and was a great way to relax after a long drive. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we could think of and it was nice having a mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable. We got in late, but the staff was very accommodating. It is a short walk downhill to the lake and also to downtown. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
This is a great hotel----we were very happy with every aspect. The hotel is either new or recently renovated---appears very up to date. The room was very clean and had all the necessities. My son loved the swings and trampoline too! Would definitely recommend!
