Centrally located, Hotel Rembrandt is within easy walking distance to many sites. The hotel is a bit outdated and could really use a facelift. The best parts were the staff and breakfast. The service was excellent in every regard- friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was a buffet with a nice assortment including breads, eggs and fresh fruit. The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. And in the photos the pool looks much larger than it is but it was great for a dip.
Don't expect much☝️I mean the quality overall. The best is the location, the swimming pool and the price depending season and big bathrooms. After all I kind of liked the old furnitures in the reception.
This hotel has such potential. Great location and view. The staff was so warm and friendly. Great service! The hotel looks like it needs some serious cosmetics. We didn't have hot water to shower. They fixed it after an hour but still. Wi fi was slow. We planned to stay at least 2 nights but we escaped after just one. The breakfast was ok the waiter was helpful and fulfilled all of our requests.
Kind staff gave sound advice about adequate taxi prices to negotiate with locals. Room was clean, spacious... Bathroom clean as well. AC worked well but wifi was so/so... But definitely strong enough to surf the web; just don't expect to stream HD YouTube or other media content. Restaurant was surprisingly well-maintained and the food was high quality. Served as a reprieve from the search if food options around tangier in the month of Ramadan although the food and beer prices were elevated for the area.Otherwise, the price point was unmatched and I'd return for my next visit.
We visit the hotel for the third time, so easy to tell we'll love it. The breakfast is great, Moroccan food and continental with a great view! Staff is very kind en hospitable! The location between the modern boulevard and the old soul is perfect. When we stayed there the pool and garden were improved. We will be back for sure!
I've been to Tangier a lot and this was the first time I stayed at the Rembrandt. The rooms were spacious and clean, lovely bathroom. Certainly didnt look like the room on this website. I think the bedspreads and curtains could do with being brighter would cheer up the room. The pool was being painted so it was a no go area but probably because it was Ramadam therefore the hotel was quiet. The bar area was ok, again could be a bit more cheery, with perhaps some Moroccan furniture. The hotel is well located which is great, and has great views over the gardens/pool and sea. Breakfasts were adequate. Pleasant enough hotel though. Just a few bits of renovation would make it even better.
Great hotel, awesome Moroccan beers in the bar served with nuts and popcorn. Watched Futbol and listened to music. Great Breakfast Buffet approx $5.00 USD. Great location, neat area of the city. Great dinning with in walking distance. Enjoyed a beautiful rainstorm, can't wait to return and soak up the sun by the pool.
The room and the bathroom were spacious and it was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in old fashion style and that is how the furniture is, it looks quite old, however the bed was very comfortable. We didn't try the food.
we stayed at Rembrandt hotel for 2 nights. everything were good and clean. breakfast was good and view from rooms was wonderful a pool on hotel is good and you can see an Ocean from your rooms. staff are kind and speak English well
We did not have high expectations and so were quite happy with the size of the room , the beautiful view and the reasonable breakfast. Some works were going on above us when we arrived perhaps on the roof(?) which was a little noisy in daylight. In the middle of the night our room filled with diesel fumes, you could smell it all down the hallway, it was quite overpowering and sleeping was only possible by opening the window to the maximum. We complained downstairs but were told nothing could be done until 8 the next morning and they refused to change our room. No reason was given for this acrid odour. A very bad finish to an enjoyable stay in Tangiers. Wifi only worked in the corridor.
