Stayed as a stopover on our Leger Spain & Morocco tour on our way to the ferry. Nice room with small shower which was adequate. However the shower head itself was either directed at the wall or the glass screen so you had to hold it in one hand whilst trying to wash with the other. The glass screen itself was a sliding screen which was very heavy and difficult to open. Elderly or infirm may struggle to cope with it. There was a free safe and fridge in the room. There was a nice laid back bar in the lobby which unfortunately got quite smokey at times. Dinner and breakfast was a nice buffet style spread. Pool looked nice but as we only stayed one night didn't get a chance to use it. Didn't feel safe walking around the local area due mainly to young Moroccans trying to cadge a lift across to Spain and hide under vehicles (Especially our coach) and hanging around the beach promenade. Which was a shame as it looked quite nice.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The breakfast was terrible and not much to choose from. Usually in any 4* hotel, you could ask for omelette, or fried eggs, but here, it didn't exist. Only boiled eggs, or this gup that I think it was scrambled eggs. The Bread was old and soggy. Fruit? Only fermented watermelon. The rooms were small and not clean. The bathroom was even smaller and dirty. The gunk in the shower was so thick that looked like tar. The shower head was broken, and after asking 5 times, it was still broken when we checked out. There was supposed to be 2 complementary water bottles daily, but in our 3 nights stay, not even one. We called housekeeping and no one answered, So we went to the reception several times during our 3 nights and they kept saying that they will send some but no one did so. The only comment they had was, "call the room service and buy some". The Windows were so dirty that we couldn't say if it was sunny or cloudy. The A/c didn't work and no one bothered to fix it after asking several times. They had 4 bellmen standing and talking to eachother but no one helped us with our luggage on check-in or check-out. I need to mention that getting to reception, you need to go up a staircase of almost 10 steps. They just stood there and watched us carry our own luggage. So far, in all our travels, this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed in.

Hotel Solazur, Tangier, Morroco is situated right on the seafront with spacious rooms and on suite facilities. Very clean and modern building. Good choices of large buffet breakfast, but please be aware of shortage of clean tea spoons, which the waiter has removed from a dirty cutlery and gave back as supposedly clean. I personally witnessed the same tea spoon go to three different different parties in the last hour of breakfast service. The shower hot water stopped mid shower and didn't return for about a minute. The house meals and drinks are overpriced, but near by fast food restaurant is an excellent choice for alternative dining. Staff are polite and friendly but the knowledge of English language is very poor. Sauna and steam room services are available with an additional charge.

A special thanks for all the staff inshalah next year I will visit ur spa once I came back to bled

Let's start with the best, which is the open buffet breakfast, in one word, it was fabulous, greetings to all the staff responsible for the breakfast. We spent two nights in a room that looked the swimming pool (back side) and one night in another room that looked right at the sea, and was fantastic. The AC worked only for heating, no cooling. The location is super right in front of the sea and very close to the train station. It should also be noted that Omnia the front desk receptionist was deligent and helpful.

Today our group checked into the Kenzi Solazar in Tangiers. This is one of the worst hotels in which I have ever stayed. Not only was the furniture very tired and even chipped in many places the room was also dirty and poorly maintained. I viewed three rooms and found piles of dirt on the floor , spilled pop on the floor, and stained walls. There was no bath mat, no water and 1 glass for two people. I finally took the least objectionable of the three rooms and can’t wait to leave tomorrow. This hotel is a disgrace!

We got this hotel because of a lot of the pictures. Our room looked nothing like that. We faced the pool area and our room was small. When we arrived, I waited 17 minutes before I was helped. People everywhere and no organized line. After being helped, it was quick to get me my key. I didn't speak French or Arabic so I understand that isn't their fault, but nobody spoke much English. Again, not an issue just letting other travelers know! Once we got to our room, I couldn't help but notice how small and hot it was. Felt like it was 200sft and the view was of a wall. Kinda felt like a prison cell as no carpet and white walls. No towels in the room either and minimal bedding. Bed was rock hard! We left and went out for the afternoon. Came back and asked for towels and they said they would be right up. 30 minutes, nothing.. Go back down and tell them again. Says same thing. We wait another 27 minutes until someone finally brought them up! We just wanted to shower :(... Then the A/C didn't work! We had to keep the window open the entire night as it was super hot. I tried to call down but nobody ever came. Hotwire shows that they have transfers to airport. Well you pay $12.5 euros pp in cash which I thought was weird. They are like be downstairs at this time and we will be waiting. We get a knock at our door 15 minutes before when we said that we have to go now... We rushed out and was greeted by a taxi... Not what we thought. We didn't feel comfortable, but went anyway. Taxi driver was nice but was on his phone texting and speeding through traffic the entire time. Either way, he got us to the airport in once peace. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if you are expecting a 4.5 star hotel. In the US this would be a 2.5/3 star hotel. I know the standards are different among regions, but it is also my responsibility to tell other US travelers how it is!

Was chocked how professional the staff , how beautiful is the place and how wonderful is the view. I want to thank 2 persons who were kind enough to treat us special : Rahima from reception and Nawfal from lobby , they were beyond kind to help and guide us with information about tangier . Breakfast is very tasty and full of varieties . I want to thank each employee for the great efforts to make guests happy , this hotel deserves 5 star not 4 to be honest and fair . Posted the view of the hotel , enjoyed the cleanliness of the area and our suit how beautifully arranged.
