Stayed while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Resort was under construction, repairs. Construction materials everywhere. Stairway/Fire Escape was blocked. Elevator very slow. Unit needed maintenance. Slider didn't slide easily. Furnace filter was very dirty. Looked like the only maintenance was to put a coat of paint over the issues. Sofa bed didn't have appropriate sheets. Mattresses were cheap, landlord specials. Fishing pier was blocked off and ready to fall into the bay. Beach didn't have bay access.

The unit we stayed in was better than what we thought the outside was a little outdated but the inside was amazingly updated. It was clean and smelled good, and the bed was comfortable. The view was awesome the sunsets were beautiful and we got to see some dolphins and manatees while sitting outside on the balcony. The artwork was great if you know you know. Overall it was a good stay and I enjoyed my birthday week. I will definitely stay there again.

The original advertisement for this property The Tampa Vacation Collection was advertising was $119 when comparing to other places. I proceeded to check out under the impression this was the total cost or at least most of it (excluding tax). After I paid for the night, I found out that there was an additional $113 “facility fee” which more than doubled the original cost bringing my total cost to $264. While I understand there may be some fees for various reasons, a “facility fee” that doubles the cost of a stay is ridiculous. Their marketing was very misleading and they were unwilling to understand this. While cordial, the manager was unwilling to understand my position and provide me with a refund only 10 min after I booked it. If you value honest businesses, I would highly recommend a different property management company and by extension property to stay at!

SCAM AND WASTE OF MONEY

SCAM. The pictures on the web and the actual ones differ so much. The old look of rhe unit. Paint peeling and bulging from the wall. The patio dirty the view nothing like what shows on the web. We checked in and looked around and left and found another place. Hotels.com really needs to verify their listings and make sure they are what they claim to be. We reached out to property manager but all they said was sorry. No partial refund or anything. Sadly lost money but will not be returning Future bookers be aware of this place.

What I didn’t like - I thought I was making reservation in a hotel come to find out it was an air b & b - not all units are the hotels. They say it’s on the beach, there is a small beach but you can’t go into the water, there’s a rock wall. Otherwise it was good. Michele at the front desk was GREAT! Since I didn’t know it was a b&b, she was amazing, nice, etc., she helped us, thankfully
