We arrived after 10:00 p.m. The room seemed ok decor-wise. Smelled a little musty but then most motels do. One of the beds had a crater-sized indentation in the center, making for an extremely uncomfortable night's sleep for two people. The real problem started the next morning as we dressed for the day and opened the closet to remove the ironing board... ROACHES. No sooner did we think (more like pray) we saw the last of these disgusting inhabitants then one literally accosted our daughter on her arm. We checked out that same day. I'm not writing this review to retaliate for a bad experience... we were to stay there for only three nights and did NOT ask for our money back. The manager and clerk were disappointed and apologetic (the exterminator was supposedly there just recently) and only charged us for one night. But I draw the line on bugs... we're all disgusted and don't plan to stay there again.
It's not often you find a 'roadside' motel that is delightful for multiple nights. But in this case, the Comfort Inn was a pleasure since it excelled with refurbished, very clean rooms, a generous selection of breakfast options and employees that were customer focused. For example, the woman who keeps the breakfast area going for three hours every morning is exceeding competent and a delight to talk to each morning. Her daily 'balancing act' to insure all the selections are available for the 70+ rooms of guests is like watching a well choreographed dance. If only all employees were this good... Our interactions and requests with the front desk were handled promptly, the housekeeping staff was fastidious and the General Manager enjoyed interacting with her customers. Next time in Sun City Center, I will definitely return.
just stayed here a couple on nights ago and loved it! the room was so clean it looked brand new! front desk staff were so kind and helpful! breakfast was fantastic, very yummy! loved the eggs and sausage. loved the pool, although wish it was heated in the colder months! unfortunatley the jacuzzi was broken, hopefully will be repaired soon. the bed was comfortable and soft. this hotel and staff was excellent and very clean. wonderful, very kind and helpful staff!
Was able to get a 3 day stay for a good price. The 3 day stay was shortened due to cancellation of flight by Allegiant Airlines the same day as my reservation. When that transpired I called to indicate I would not be staying until the following day, concerned I would be charged as it was less than a 24 hour notice. The nice gentleman told me not to worry, he would take care of it and would see us the next day. We made the flight the next day and got our room. Good accommodations, nice room, convenient. Thank you for understanding and making it a pleasurable stay. Koodos....
This is a nice place just south of Tampa and located right off of I-75 making for a convinent stop. The room I had (king size bed) was very clean and quiet. Nice Flat screen TV. There is a nice large swimmimg pool that I did not use. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, witrh more than the Bagels and juice that many place have. Looses one star for me as the price was over $100 for the night. All in all, I would reccomend this motel if you dont mind spending the $.
I typically do not leave reviews, but this was an interesting experience. We stayed at this hotel while in town for a funeral and it's location is very convenient to interstate. The beds were comfortable and room was clean upon arrival. However, as soon as we walked in the room while unpacking, we received a (what we later found out to be a scam) phone call on the room phone, from someone "from Comfort Inn" trying to get our CC number. When we went downstairs to check, the employee in the lobby said that she had in fact forwarded the call to our room. The caller knew that we had just checked in... Very un-nerving and made us very uncomfortable as it was definitely NOT from a real representative of Comfort Inn. The lady at the front desk kind of brushed it off when we came downstairs to check. We were leery enough not to give out the number over the phone but it scares us to think how many people would. Beware of this scam while at this hotel! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g34665-d86070-r461942141-Comfort_Inn-Sun_City_Center_Florida.html#
Stopped in late at night. Staff was easy to get a room this late and made it easy to check in. Room had a great bed and was roomy. The Wi-Fi was easy to get on line. Not much I can say because I wasn't there very long.
Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was more than I expected. However it sits in a commercial area where the view is either a row of hedges that separate it from the Interstate or the back side of two restaurants. Its easy access to I-75 and the nearby restaurants make it a great choice for the weary traveler. Much better choice than the other nearby motels!

Our relatives live in Sun City Center, so we chose this Comfort Inn to be close to them. The room with 2 queen beds was spacious with a desk, table and two chairs, a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was split, the sink was outside the door, and the toilet/tub/shower in a separate room was a little cramped. But the shower pressure was excellent! Breakfast was complimentary with coffee/tea, juice, fruit, waffles, eggs, biscuits, pastries, and cereals. The Greek yogurt was a name brand and I appreciated that. The staff was very pleasant behind the desk and at breakfast. We were happy with our choice and would stay there again. The pool looked nice. Stairs to 2nd floor rooms, be sure to ask for 1st floor if you have limited mobility.
