Great after Graduation Trip

We loved our stay at Pirates Den. There were 7 adults and we had plenty of room. We all really enjoyed the outdoor area by the pool and the dock. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we go back. The owner was easily reachable for any question and check in was seamless. Great stay at a great place!!!

presidents day weekend.

We were incredibly happy to find this property a couple wks before traveling and that was great. So happy that they also allowed our dog to come. Property is nice and we enjoyed the boat dock. Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain our weekend so we could not use all the amenities. The home was fine but definitely could use a remodel or update on the furnishings. Otherwise, was as advertised. Nor much to do in this area but we did see the manatees which was a big plus.

Short stay

We really enjoyed staying here! Everything was so nice and felt like home. They really go above and beyond here, you have everything you need for your stay!! The kids loved having the pool and fishing off the dock. The dog loved the dog door and getting to explore the backyard and the dock!! One of the best VRBO we have stayed at and hope to stay again! The host was great!!

Great space wonderful holiday

This is a wonderful house with a perfect layout for entertaining. The linens are wonderful and the kitchen is fully stocked. The canal and beautiful. We did some fishing off the dock (our own poles) and caught several nice sized fish. Daughters enjoyed the kayaks and weights for exercise. Very comfortable and great location. Highly recommend.

Making Great Memories

My grown son and I traveled with friends to stay at the Pirates Den for Labor Day weekend and attend a show at the Tampa amphitheater. What a fabulous weekend! Everyone loved the house which was spacious. Every room had a very cool vibe. The beds were so comfortable and even those of us who are early risers enjoyed sleeping in. The pool was clean and there were plenty of rafts and pool toys to use. The kitchen was well equipped. We stayed home and cooked all of our meals which we enjoyed out on the porch overlooking the pool and the water. Each night we sat on the dock and watched the beautiful sunset. But the biggest hit of the weekend were the kayaks which were in use all day every day. We picked up some fishing poles and bait at a nearby shop and everyone took turns exploring in the kayaks and fishing off the dock. Thanks so much for a fun and very memorable weekend. We hope to have a chance to enjoy the Pirates Den again one day.

Comfortable and Spacious.

This is a spacious, comfortable, well stocked house with lots of toys. The house has kayaks, bikes and foosball table - lots of amenities to keep a large family busy. For us, it is close to Sun City Center, where our parents were. Easy in from Tampa airport. We have stayed here a couple of times because it is large enough for three couples and some kids to all have a comfortable space.

Great for families with kids

My family and I loved our stay here after having to find a new property because our original booking did not work out. We flew in with kids and a dog in tow it was stressful but we found and booked this spot the night before and the owner was nice enough to let us check in a littler earlier after sitting around the first house staring at the non-working pool. Pool was great, owner response was quick and we all had a great time celebrating my son’s birthday. The only thing that wasn’t working properly was the ice machine which wasn’t a huge deal we managed and put some drinks in the freezer instead of fridge. Might want to bring your own pool floaty and toys since the ones provided had holes so we couldn’t use it. Wish there were better kitchen tools, all the knives were dull and there was only one big pot for cooking. Other than that, it was a cute, comfortably, welcoming and relaxed stay, so much better than our original booking. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pirate's Den. The decor was beautiful and the house was super clean. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything we needed and then some. The lanai was gorgeous and so tastefully decorated. We loved using the kayaks and the dock was so perfect to sit and enjoy the views. The amenities were endless including the beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and board games. The free weights were also much appreciated. The backyard with the beautiful palm trees and shells were so amazing. We were traveling with three generations and two pups We truly enjoyed this beautiful home and would highly recommend. Kathie was a wonderful host and was so quick to respond to all our requests. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home-we would love to come back again!
