Beautiful property, warm and helpful staff, unique and stylish bungalows. Fantastic location on edge of town.

Great room, super friendly staff, fantastic location. We parked on-site in a gated lot. The room was clean and air conditioned. Beautiful pool with a magic view of the ocean. Just steps from the beach and all the places you could want in “downtown” Tamarindo. Bohemian vibes but first class service.

This property is excellent! The bungalows are private and the staff is fantastic. Lots of attention to detail and they make you feel like family when you are there. Ilse and Pia are e cells to hostesses! Loved every minute of it!

Staff was excellent and location is the best! We stayed for 8 nights. They make the experience convenient and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Ocho Bungalows for anyone that is open to a unique experience yet finds comfort in modern conveniences. This property has only been open for 2 years and they have done a tremendous job with the aesthetic to bring complete zen to the property. I wish that with future development they can extend the same atmosphere to the parking entrance of the location - it isn't very inviting and we were weary at first. Get over the entrance and you'll love it just like we did!

Pia, Jose and Karla were amazing!! They scheduled every tour for us and taxi. They made our vacation stress free and relaxing by catering to our every needs. The property is beautiful, nothing else like it in Tamarindo. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful unique handcrafted bungalows right on the beach. Refined yet rustic at the same time. A nice change of pace from your traditional luxury hotels.

Hotel is not as advertised and definitely not worth the price! The location of the hotel is central to the city of Tamarindo however it is placed in front of a swamp with a warning of alligators. The walk into the shops of Tamarindo is muddy and full of gravel. Rooms are clean, however I had to sleep with the lights on to keep outside creatures from getting in. Overall I couldn’t bare to stay another day and had to move to a different hotel.
