My mother stayed here, and no words can describe how terrible it is. Where to start... the room was not cleaned at check in. Once the room was made available, the shower did not work, sink was clanged with questionable sludge, the room was filled with viable mold, the floors were so filthy that it left a black residue, refrigerator & microwave was broken and roaches wondered freely in the room. The property refused to address the issues for 24 hours. The manager offered 10% discount for the "troubles," but on a $74 stay that is $7.40 discount. What a slap in the face! This room was unusable! At checkout, the desk staff refused the discount that was offered by management. Additionally, they refused to provide a receipt/statement for the charges. When confronted with the troubles, escorted an elderly women off of the property. This is unacceptable! I look forward to speaking with the manager to discuss the company policy on how they treat customers and the brand standards they deem acceptable for this property.

the overall look is a bit poor, but the room was very nice and clean, everything worked fine, except for the tv, the channel changing was slow, not to many channes either, internet was fast enough, the guy at the desk was very nice, helpfull too, there are some good places to eat next door

Great location, good breakfast, but the rooms are not thrilling. The bathroom wasn't that clean, and even though it appeared to have been renovated, the paint over on the walls in the bathroom was sloppy and didn't look professional. The bathtub did not drain well. The beds were actually decent. But I hate those fat hotel pillows. Give those of us who like flat pillows an option. The worst part was the hotel is being renovated and was noisy construction, and it seemed the construction workers were staying here, and had a bunch of noisy friends over at night. Don't think I will stay here again. Just wasn't that thrilled with the whole experience. Not horrible, but not great.

The moment I went into the office to book my room, the staff member at the front desk was very polite, helpful, and welcoming. Upon entering the room, I was pleased with my stay. The room was clean and did not have any issues or need for further requests. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others as well. My favorite part was the hot breakfast in the morning - the cherry on top. Thank you for the hospitality... until next time! :)

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool you can't ask more.. I love the Staff they are very helpful and very friendly.. we stayed there for couple of days never had any issue keep up the good work guys (thumbs up)

A typical hotel of this type, no complaints, investment would not go amiss though. Very nice pool and self service hot breakfast - but be prepared to queue at the waffle maker!. A reasonable price with helpful staff, and fine if you just want an overnight or short stay whilst passing through.

We stayed here one night. There was black mold all around the bath tub. A lamp did not work. The door was missing weather stripping, we could see daylight. The ice machine was broken. The manager told me she would give me 500 points, but as of this review, no points received. This place is okay for only one night.

This is a former Best Western that reopened under the Choice Hotels brand but it has a way to go before it rates the "quality" in its name. In all fairness, the place is under going renovations which are needed. The layout is ala BW so it is more of a motor inn which made the rooms noisier close to I-10. We reserved a non-smoking king but the room was smelly and it had an ash tray in it! The staff was very friendly. They recommended the restaurant next door--The Backwoods Crossroads, a farm to table restaurant. Unusual, creative dinners, delicious and at a reasonable price. The location was what we needed for one night and I'd give this place another chance in the future. Oh, and they really need to update the hair dryers so you don't have to hold the button in with one hand to keep the dryer on!

The carpet and bedding were clean, but there were cobwebs in a corner of the ceiling and the bath was stained although otherwise clean. The room facilities included an iron and board and a hairdryer. The lighting was by low level lights only in the main part of the room. There were USB charging points near the bed. Conveniently located within walking distance to Backwoods Restaurant. I had a non-smoking room and it smelt clean. Good Breakfast, options included sausage links, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, English muffins, bread, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs and pastries. I chose this hotel for it's close location to the Tallahasse Auto and Collectibles Museum, which is within a short walking distance and well worth a visit.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel and both times the experience was great. The rooms are clean, no weird or strong odors, bathroom was clean. Bed linens were clean and in good order. Breakfast was wonderful w eggs, sausage, waffles and pastries. All in all a great place to stay!
