The room was clean, although a little small and a bit rundown. The location was good. Short driving distance to other Tallahassee locations. Breakfast was meh- typical of most hotel breakfasts but it’s free so it works.

The room was remodeled, however, you can still see evidence of water damage. It also smelled musky in the room. It needed to be cleaned better. There was stuff in the corners of the room the vacuum missed. The bathroom floors looked dirty due to the grout. The bed was really comfortable though.

The musty smell across the entire complex is unforgiving. I only stayed one night. Had I needed more than one night I would've moved hotels. The smell feels unsafe to breathe in my opinion. They do attempt to mask it with some type of air freshener. Other than odor, the hotel is clean and seems nice.

The first room we got the shower was not cleaned. There was pink hair dye and hair all over the shower. We asked for a different room. Once in the new room the shower was clean up there was a razor laying on the floor in the bedroom which showed that room wasn’t cleaned either. We ended up just checking out and finding another hotel. The front desk staff was great to deal with.
