Woke up to something crawling on me. Went to bathroom to see 2. Baby German cockroaches crawling from damaged caulking around shower. Not outdoor water but roaches but the nasty indoor little ones. Didn’t want to take any home with me so Packed up to leave and go to another hotel at 5am in the morning and as I went to pack saw another crawling on the desk in the room. Took video of both instances. Waiting on a refund now.

Might be the smallest hotel room we have ever had, not even a desk and chair. That said, we were only using it for an overnight stay so we didn’t need much room. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was standard free breakfast fare.

The hotel was nice, breakfast was decent. My only complaint is that they process the $100 deposit as an actual charge instead of a pending transaction so it takes several days to be refunded vs just falling off in a day or two after checkout. Other hotels normally just show a pending charge, there's really no reason to keep someone's money from them. That's the reason for the loss of a star.
