so prepaid my hotel on the orbitz website, ( personally I dislike giving hotels my payment card ) at the hotel they actually swiped the card at check in. So I get to my next stop, and I get an alert that I have been charged again for the room, ( even less then what I originally paid on the Orbitz site, I don't get that either ) so I called, the whomever I spoke with, say's will take care of it and apologized for the error. Great I thought ! Buttttt now I get the credit on my payment card, and guess what,..... I was shorted on repayment of the overcharge ! Really ? Kinda sad how people are trained or how they keep their jobs.

Hotel was ok... room was clean but front desk took a while
Was disappointed by the hotel. Guest handbook was inaccurate (no rides to the airport; out of those "I forgot my razor" goodiie bags). Breakfast buffet was poorly looked after. Although staff was friendly/nice, they were not very helpful, knowledgeable, and seemed to take their own sweet time about everything. Rooms were okay--not as nice as I have seen in other Fairfield Inn Marriotts. Won't stay here next time--suspect the Holiday Inn across the street is as nice or nicer.
Hotel management was terrible. No one was ever at the front desk. No one monitored the breakfast area - coffee cold, items depleted. Last night of stay management scattered a large teenage tour group all over the hotel. They arrived at 11:00 PM and it was nonstop noise till they ate everything in sight and left the next morning. I received a "joke" call at 2:30 AM from someone with this group. I called the front desk and demanded something be done. The next two hours contained loud knocking on doors with people yelling to "shut up". This happened because the management of this hotel was totally incompetent!
Great overnight stay. The clerk upfront was very helpful and couteous. We were moved to a suite due to no doubles being available. Room was very clean and tidy. Extra blankets were broight immediately. Would definitely stay again!
This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Fairfield in Tallahassee. The first was when the hotel was brand new. The rooms have continued to be clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would only suggest they do a few minor repairs to carpet sags in elevators etc... that have occured naturally over time. The breakfast is not elaborate, but meets most needs for a quick fix before you start your day. If it were not for a few minior maintenance issues I would have given them a 5.
Very nice place to stay, It would nice to have refrigerator in the room.
We were visting my cousin who lives in Tally and attends FSU. It was close to I10 and about 15 min from FSU and the State Capital. I enjoyed breakfast, they give you lots of options: waffles, oatmeal, cereal, egg sausage biscut, yogurt, bagles, donuts, juice, milk, coffee. I would defintely go back next time I am in Tally.
