A value for money hotel with all basic necessities. English speaking staff, helpful concierge that got us a great discounted deal on three tours in 8 hrs with an English speaking taxi driver. Location is great with boutique cafes (Aussie style) like Fika Fika at walking distance. MRT (highly recommended) at walking distance too. Airport transfers in a Mercedes was awesome. Only recommendation would be too improve the quality of breakfast buffet.

Very good choice for a long weekend stay in Taipei. Staff is very helpful, friendly and efficient. Rooms are large with big bathroom (seperate shower and bathtub) and very clean. Though facing a street, room was reasonable quiet. Air con on the other hand was a bit noisy for my taste. Breakfast nothing special, but ok. Location is good and within walking distance of two metro stations. If you are in Taipei for a prolonged weekend this is definitely an option to consider.

If you're the type of traveller who swoons at the sight of deep soaking tub and an oversized bed, you'll be happy at Capital Hotel. Our room was clean and super comfortable (modern furnishings, nothing too fancy), but most importantly... the bath tub! For an admittedly picky Westerner, breakfast was weird, not gonna lie, but you're not going to start your day hungry. Staff is helpful and friendly. Summary: For about a hundred bucks a night, the location and accommodations can't be beat. P.S. The toilets are fun. 😉

Helpful staff, complimentary fruit and drinks on the room, extremely comfortable bed, big and roomy, big bathroom with both shower and a bathtub. I have nothing I can complain about . It was really excellent

Very nice hotel! The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are great, the beds are so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. Highly recommend this hotel. The fitness center is very small though.

I'm not sure if I stayed in a different type of room from the other reviewers here, but it definitely wasn't outdated. The room was very nice and modern, large bed, tub in the bathroom, high-tech Japanese toilet with the heated seat. Honestly, bathroom was my favorite part of the room :)

Stayed here for 2 nights during a recent leisure trip to Taipei. The hotel is a little dated but it's located right next to the subway station and the night market. Overall, the room is clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was okay but seems to be a bit slow and confused when we checked in.

i recomend this hotel for any business man . it's very well located , but the main point fantastic service m very precise , and gentle . the customer is the king . good internet fast , room big , super clean and confortable . price very good for the quality and service .

The best thing about this hotel is its position, next to a stain for the underground train and close to shops and restaurants. The room itself was large but had no natural light and was beginning to show its age. The bathroom again was large with a great full sized bath as well as a separate shower but agin was slightly shabby. breakfast was extensive but very Asian and the toaster didn't work. Very few of the staff spoke English. There was good free wifi. Fine for a couple of days.

Fairly regular hotel.Good connectivity to the airport, reasonable selection of food near by. Short walk to subway. Rooms were big, but looks slightly dated. As in most hotel in Taipei, service were prompt and efficient, though nothing exceptional to wow its guest. Anyway on a business trip, not much to fuzz about
