Room condition was alright, a little bit dated being an older hotel and building. Washroom was spacious. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice bonus. The overall vibes and atmosphere were old and historic so that may be a hit or miss for some people and their interests.

Room was great. Simple. Our room had a separate tub and shower so both people could wash at the same time, as long as they were ok with that. The wifi didn't work on any of our devices. Tried different phones and laptops. They could connect and the provided password was correct, but no internet connection. Asked the front desk about it but couldn't troubleshoot it - but neither of us were entirely fluent in each other's languages. Troublesome to not have wifi for a long stay!

Very nice hotel, nothing to fault.Maybe... you have to find your own breakfast and there is nothing available in the area until 10am at least. Clean, professional staff and good exercise getting to public transport, which takes you everywhere. Quiet area and lots of eating places for lunch, though I did not eat here. It was all in Chinese and workers did not want or can't speak English. I did not know what I would get. I had picked hotel randomly but if I came back to Taipei/Taiwan I would stay here. More than I usually pay but worth it.
