My husband, son and I stayed for 2 nights, we chose this location to be near to family. Our room was large and quiet, the beds were very comfortable. We could open our windows to let in fresh air which was a bonus. We had the full buffet breakfast each morning which was plentiful and delicious, the decor in the restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Nice Tudor style building sprawling across the site. Clean and tidy with happy friendly staff. The restaurant is pleasant with a good menus and although my rump steak for dinner was as tough as leather, apparently it was due to a new supplier, they made amends with an appropriate discount which I didn't ask for. We had a spacious room right at the northern end and much to my wife's delight, the bathroom has a window to the exterior garden and street, to let light and fresh air in. Nice sun drenched pool and overall facilities. There may be a case for some judicious renovations in the near future just to modernise the rooms.

We thought we would have breakfast, however when going to the resturaunt the waitress said that they had no room for us. We were only 3 people and there was plenty of tables. She said a bus load of people were "coming in 5 mins." I phoned up and spoke to the manager. He said that the bus load had already been and he couldnt understand why we were turned away. He said he would get his manager to call me... never heard from them. I am a accor advantage member and also work at a big corpotate customer down the road (green). Needless to say, ive reccomended against using this facility for future corporate events. Dont waste your time.. try Novatel accross the road, they will be happy to accept your money.

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute. Was able to drop off my luggage in my room before check in time. Secure undercover parking. I had a balcony room that overlooked the pool, so was able to safely open the sliding door for fresh air. I prefer that, than air conditioning. The room was large and very clean. Nice smelling amenities in the bath room. I purchased the movie package and was pleased with the range of movies. Had a full breakfast in the restaurant each morning which was delicious. Had room service one evening. Super fast and yummy. All staffI encountered were friendly and efficient.

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was located on the ground floor and was very quiet at night. The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were suitably comfortable. Lovely established gardens to sit and relax in the shade. Good location and access.

We stayed here while my mum moved into a retirement village the staff where all great i asked for a ground floor unit it was waiting for us when we checked in. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable everything we needed

We chose this hotel due to its high ratings and convenient location. A lesson was definitely learnt. When we checked in the receptionist was great, she couldn't be nicer. That is where it all ended. We went to our room and found we had an adjoining door, the soundproofing none existing. The none existence confirmed by the screaming of the children in the room next door. I immediately returned to the reception to be greeted, not by the kind receptionist but by a male who had definitely got out of the wrong side of the bed, he told me there were no other rooms available, that is until the phone rang and was answered by a lady next to him telling the caller, "yes we do have room vacancies for this evening" Caught in a lie, amazingly he then told me they had a room available. We went to our new room to find it had a noisy air conditioner and again an adjoining door, this time not with children next door but with three women on a hens night out. Combined with a noisy wedding party, noisy cars in the parking area and hard pillows we only gained a little sleep with the use of ear plugs. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a relaxing, restful stay, you will be disappointed.

Highly recommend The Hills Lodge, it is especially great for families. Lovely grounds with all the facilities you need for a relaxing break. Pool, Day Spa, Restaurant & very comfortable rooms. Convenient location being close to Castle Towers & only 20 mins drive to the city.

Our room was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, clean and very spacious. The bed was really comfy with nice pillows. The bathroom was big and well equipped with a walk-in shower, lots of room to be able to spread everything out on the huge vanity and great lighting. The staff member on Reception was very helpful and welcoming. Parking was nice and handy to room plus there was also the option of secure parking as well.

Stayed Christmas eve until the 30th the food was very good always hot and tastefully presented. The room service was fair no milk one day no tea bags another and no sugar another. Loved the pool and my granddaughter's swam in it with me and staff very kind and courtesy. I would recommend that a mat or rail be placed on the step as you get out when wet it is very slippery my daughter saved me from slipping but one lady who was staying there showed me her leg very swollen could hardly walk after a fall. I enjoyed my stay and would return again.
