Spacious apartment situated on the top floor of a small complex with wonderful views of Rushcutters Bay, private, green and tranquil. Reverse cycle air-conditioning for cooling/heating, heaps of morning sun, full kitchen (no dishwasher), bathroom with washer & dryer. Very comfy queen bed, good wardrobe space and view from bed. Easy walk to Kings Cross/Potts Point/Sydney City Centre, National Art Gallery and Museum. Lovely park and bay walks. If you are a couple (or single) who respect other people’s property then we would like to welcome you to our home.
This is an apartment for maximum 2 people. It is a very comfortable home with wonderful light and welcoming vistas. A lovely balcony for relaxing and taking in the view and morning sun. There is reverse cycle air conditioning for both cooling in summer and heating in winter. Easy to use with full instructions in the top drawer of the small table next to the sofa.
There is a washer and dryer for your use, instructions are printed and laminated and left on the shelf above. Please be sure to clean the filters in both after each use. Just a note, it is best to put the plug in the sink when doing a wash or all the suds will come up through the floor drain, also please open the window when using the dryer and if possible also the sliding door to allow the steam to escape.
Sunlight will flood the bedroom in the morning, we have a blind but it is not a blockout blind as we love the sun coming in so if you must have absolute darkness when you sleep then this apartment is not for you. The view from bed is stunning, especially at night when the lights across the bay are twinkling along with the stars above.
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THINGS AROUND, especially furniture. Please try not to break anything but let us know if you do.
There are two TV’s. One is a smart TV the other an android and from both you can login to your Netflix and other accounts. YouTube and SBS on demand are already installed.
There are two exhaust fans in the kitchen, the one above the cooktop is operated by pulling it out, the second has a switch inside the overhead spice cupboard. It is not essential as it just gives a backup so if you do use it please remember to turn it off. It is very easy to miss that it has been left on as it doesn’t make a lot of noise.
The hot water is very hot and doesn’t need to run for long to heat, so just hop in the shower and go. If it runs out, as it is only a 50ltr tank, it will reheat within about 30 minutes.
You’ll see we have a lovely (new!) King sofa in the most unpractical of colours - white! We have supplied covers for the sofa and ottoman and would really appreciate that you keep them on while in use so as not to have any unfortunate mishaps. Thank you in advance.
We are located within metres to vibrant Kings Cross and Potts Point. You can walk across the park below to Edgecliff Centre and we are not far from Woolloomooloo and walking distance to the new art gallery and the city.
It is tranquil and peaceful and away from everything but close to everything at the same time. From this top floor level you can view out towards Rushcutters Bay Park and the Cruising Yacht Club of Sydney. Full of light, sunny mornings on the balcony, nice breezes - relax on the balcony and just take in the world. Big picture windows in the bedroom create a light show in the evening, the skyline is ablaze with twinkling lights and stars
There is street parking only. Visitor passes can be issued on request, subject to availability as these are limited.
If you’re in to tennis there is a tennis club located just below us. You can walk to Potts Point, Edgecliff, the famous Kings Cross where you’ll also find the train station which can take you into the City proper. Or walk down the Butler Stairs at Potts Point to Woolloomoolloo and on to the Botanical Gardens and attractions such as the Sydney Art Gallery or Museum. There is an absolute multitude of activities and interesting sites nearby.

Perfect location - easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and the harbour. It is a small apartment but has everything you need including good cooking facilities. The view of Rushcutters Bay Park from the balcony is wonderful. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We would definitely stay again.
Great location. Easy to use public transportation. Bed was awesome. Host was fantastic to talk to. Gave us great ideas. Balcony was fun with many different birds around. Would certainly stay there again.

Fabulous location
We enjoyed our stay in this little apartment. Had everything we needed, but limited space to put suitcases. Appears owners use this themselves as lots of personal items around. Check in information and overall communication was excellent however as we arrived at night, it was a bit difficult to use locked key box in the dark and double locked apartment front door took a bit to master. But overall, it suited us for the short stay very well. A lovely location and we would stay again.
