For quaintness and charm, look no further!
Positioned along the banks of Amador Creek sits historic Torres Hall in the once bustling community of Amador City during its Gold Rush heyday.
Tiny Amador City, now a beautifully preserved outpost to be rediscovered and treasured for its charm and historical significance will capture your imagination and your heart!

Historic Torres Hall, built at the height of the Gold Rush in 1857 can attest to being the area’s General Mercantile and Buggy Repair Shop among several notable businesses over the many years, with the past several decades it became known as an internationally renowned Doll and Bear Emporium.
The Shopkeeper’s Cottage has been fully remodeled and exquisitely curated to pay homage to the grand lady herself as well as others who came before her.
It’s refined and elegantly designed French Country style will wrap you in comfort and luxury while being steeped in the history and charm of another era.
You will be welcomed in to your own private foyer, between the two shop storefronts where you will be met with beautiful 20th century artwork of French countryside landscapes as you make your way down the hallway.
Upon entering the Cottage, you will instantly notice the 12ft ceilings and a gallery of 19th century original artwork of Parisian landmarks which hung in the Ritz, Paris until 2018, a venue also known as the home of another acclaimed shopkeeper, Coco Chanel.
Watch a movie on Netflix on your 70in tv on down filled Restoration Hardware sofas and French Bergere chairs complete with Alpaca throws to keep you warm and toasty!

Gorgeous hidden gem!
The Shopkeeper's Cottage was perfect! Hidden behind the store front, you would never know this beautiful place was there! The home is very spacious and comfortable for small to large groups and perfectly located! They had everything we needed and were so nice to set up an extra bed before we arrived to for fit our party. We can't wait to come back!

Hidden Gem
The Shopkeepers Cottage is a beautiful and spacious place decorated in the French style. Well appointed with games, books and many places to gather to enjoy them. We loved the deep tub with bath salts and fluffy towels. Thank you for a memorable experience. We would like to come back again!
