Channel Marker 306 is a two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront condo located 0.9 miles south of the Surfside Pier. This condo features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood flooring, and ceiling fans. Three TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king-sized bed and one twin-over-double bunk bed set, plus a queen-sized sofa bed. Complex amenities include an oceanfront swimming pool with furnished pool deck and grills. Limit two parking passes per unit. One parking space is assigned, the second is available on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed. Trailers and motorcycles allowed with passes on a first come, first served basis. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.
Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Place is just old. Couch was filthy chairs were ok but had to put towels down to sit on anything. Bathrooms were ok and kitchen was fine but don’t look to sit anywhere

Great location but place needs updates
We enjoyed our stay because of the location right on the beach. The place is in need of a major renovation as many cabinets are falling apart and the place is old overall. Had a great balcony overlooking the beach but the chairs were so uncomfortable that you could not enjoy that feature. We did enjoy the pool. It was nice and had nice lounge chairs. Area was nice with many nice places to eat. I would come back if improvements are made

Perfect location but hold on...
We have stayed at the Channel Marker for 4 years, however this was our first time staying in 306. We were a little put off when we saw that we would ha e to bring our own linens and the usually provided necessities, however after June 5 that will change. This to us, well me, meant that I had a heck of alot more packing to do with sheets and blankets, towels, washcloths, etc. Also note worthy is the parking. On the website it states there are 2 parking spaces. We only saw 1 that was clearly marked for 306, it was not a covered spot. The 3rd floor wasn't too big of a deal until after we made several trips up and down bringing up stuff when we got there, but hey I look at it as exercise, because dang my legs and lungs were burning! The biggest complaint that I have about this condo, and we haven't had an issue with any of the condos we stayed at there before, is the no good absolute terrible shower pressure. The kitchen sink sprayer has more pressure that the shower head. Other than these issues, we were very happy with the clean private pool with an outdoor shower for rinsing, amazing location, oceanfront, a good balcony, comfortable beds, plenty of seating in the condo, friendly neighbors and a really great company to do business with. Our check-in process was good and we are happy to have had the opportunity to stay in 306. Thank you Garden City Realty!!!

Condo was very nice and overlooked the ocean. Very comfortable. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Only negative was that the pool which we were looking forward to was closed. Other pools were open, and never received an explanation. The pool did look really refreshing though.

The bathrooms and kitchen need updating. Please remove mat by front door; it’s so slippery, an accident waiting to happen. Living room was nicely done. Lots of dirt under the chairs and small table in living room. Carpet on balcony was very dirty and stained. View from balcony was beautiful. Pam from leasing office a pleasure to deal with

Vacation getaway.
This unit was everything we expected it to be. Due to other reviews we knew the unit was a bit dated with basic decor of cabinets and flooring. The appliances were fairly knew, the furniture was fairly new and comfortable. Mattresses were also comfortable; which has been an issue with us on other places we have stayed. The view was amazing and we loved spending time on the balcony at any free time. Not all units near us had pools so we felt fortunate to have a choice. I did not want to break the bank for our rental and this was the best of both worlds. Comfortable and steps away from the beach. I could handle dated cabinets. I felt it was a great unit for the price and would not hesitate to rent again. The 3rd floor was quite the hike so if anyone has issues with stairs that would be the only caution I would extend; as to get the 3rd floor you have to go up a full 3 flights because the first floor is not on ground level but a full flight up from the ground
