I knew this would be a good place for a holiday but thought attending a wedding there might be different. It turned out beautifully. We were given a suite of rooms with a patio opening out to the wedding area, so it was like a wedding at home. Other guests were housed in surrounding units, which was very convenient for everyone. The staff were great throughout our stay. The scenic grounds were a lovely backdrop for photographs, with native birds, water lily ponds and a fantastic pool area which was lit by fairy lights at nightfall. The courtesy bus into Noosa would be a boon to anyone unable to drive. No need for wedding car hire either. And how easy it was to get 'home' within three minutes of leaving the reception!
If you are planning on a wedding in Noosa this is the place for you. The staff were absolutely unbelievable. In particular Jordan and Pirie were so incredibly helpful, they made us feel like the most important people in the whole world. Their professionalism, kindness and warmth made the day so extra special. The venue was sensational, the food was fantastic and plentiful. They allowed our photographer access to an upstairs apartment to get fantastic shots of the whole wedding party. Everything ran like clockwork. Thank you to everyone at the racv noosa including the staff working behind the scenes who made the day one never to be forgotten.
A week of rotten weather did not spoil our stay. The resort has improved the beds, the shower pressure, room servicing The pool was warm, the restaurants surprisingly good and the day trips to eumundi, the Glasshoue mountains and malloolabah fish markets were handy and fun.
Stayed for 4 days at the racv Noosa resort in an apartment the staff are so helpful with great local knowledge the bus to Hastings street is fantastic especially Vicki one of the drivers The accommodation is clean and would highly recommend for families
We arrived at RACV Noosa to find our room was a little larger than an oversize shoebox. There was no bathtub which was a real let down but the worst part of our stay by far was how uncomfortable the bed was. We could feel the springs and the mattress was warped beyond belief- by far the worst night sleep we have ever had. It took only a couple of hours before we decided to contact reception. The housekeeping manager was very friendly and accommodating by offering an additional mattress topper and re-made the bed for us while apologising for the inconvenience- this was the best service we received for our entire stay. The first morning I woke up with a very sore back and the second morning my wife woke up with a sore back. We asked if our mattress could be replaced but were informed that all the mattresses were the same, though only some had been replaced with new ones. We were instead offered to be moved to another room. After another poor night sleep in a new room and not enjoying our holiday at all we decided that we could not stay any longer and made the decision to check out two nights early. We contacted Wotif for a refund for the final two nights and RACV claimed we never mentioned the problems with our mattress but would refund a single night - which is surprising, since they moved us to another room. TLDR; checked out two nights early because the room was bland at best and the mattresses were so bad it wasn’t worth the back pain.
Our family needed a short break where everyone could relax and RACV resort Noosa, ticked all our boxes. Our teenage children loved the water park area, games room, tennis court and it was great that we had the option to hire bikes to ride to the nearby Farmers markets or venture further to the beach. Having said that the courtesy shuttle bus takes guests to Hastings Street (main beach) every hour which is so convenient. The service was friendly and efficient. Our needs were anticipated and you genuinely felt like staff wanted you to have a special, relaxing stay at RACV. The standard of accommodation was excellent. Immaculate rooms, balconies off three rooms and did I mention the pillows - bliss! The three females also appreciated the professional hairdryers with diffusers, so the hoilday hair was looking good. When it came time for meals, the first night we dined poolside and enjoyed woodfired pizzas whilst mum and dad treated themselves to beautiful cocktails. The second evening we had a delicious meal at Arcuri Restaurant (see separate review in restaurants section) The full buffet breakfast set us up for the day and is in the beautiful surroundings of Arcuri and near the pool. We would have no hesitation to return to RACV Resort again and can highly recommend holidaying there.
I hate to tell everyone but this place is great for families. No better kids club, pool with slides, cocktails and super value for money. You need to boom early tho. Just opposite the great golf course and short drive in free bus to main drag. Perfect.
Beautiful setting with great layout very relaxing vibe through out the resort. Pool - on the small size. Really friendly service. Room well appointed, spacious and clean. A little bland in styling Meals were all were tasty and a range of healthy options available
Staff from top down are always happy & willing to assist. They really do love their jobs! Fantastic quiet location with so much bird life, so close to the heart of Noosa. Great facilities. Shuttle bus service to town/beach. Hire a bicycle or a green power car to explore surrounds. Best time of year to visit in Australian Winter.
What a wonderful place for a get away. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Super clean rooms reasonable prices for food and drinks. Kids well catered for as well. Lovely pool with a sandy beach. Will definitely be back.
