Another stop on the way south, very nice tidy room, the cot/crib we requested was in place, but it contained a very sweet gift, a very nice touch. The room was nice, big and spacious. It was also very modern, clean and immaculate throughout. There was a large wedding on in the hotel, but it didn't cause any noise for us. A stall in the grounds sold bratwurst, nice grounds. Very nice breakfast and charming waiting staff. Breakfast has a very wide selection of foods and drinks and was all fresh that morning. The hotel carpark is very small and only holds about 18 cars, but there is parking dotted around the complex.
The hotel is beautifully located amongst structure of a old castle. The hotel is modern and not in a castle. The food is good. And the facilities are great. It has a Michelin restaurant but is full so you need to book in advance a few days. The staff are cordial.
Fantastic reception on arrival - professional, friendly and engaging. The deluxe double bedroom is a dream, very well furnished seperate toilet and a massive brand new bathroom all in first class condition The bed is also very comfortable, an important thing when you want to relax and enjoy a long Easter weeekend. The fitness studio is fully equiped and offers the most modern work out! Sauna and steam room are brand new with a superb rest areas both inside and outside on a well presented and spotlessly clean terrace. Wow, what a standard! The breakfast room is also beautiful and the quality of hot and cold food is outstanding. You can even order a complete range of freshly made coffees, the laté is delicious and served with a smile! If you enjoy gourmet food as we do, then the Michelin star restaurant is a must. We had a magnificient 5 course meal that was way beyond our expectations, served with exceptional estate wines and Sekt. Not inexpensive, but truly fantastic! The golf course within the estate and directly next to the hotel is immaculate, set in a very well maintained parkland, it has a very nice Italian restaurant next to the clubhouse and we enjoyed a delicious and inexpensive lunch in a comfortable and wonderfully clean location. This only our first full day of the Easter weekend but are already relaxed and at ease! Fantastic to find a hotel that fully meets ones expectations of cleanliness, quality and friendliness. You have to make time to visit and appreciate all the super things on offer here. We are sure your experience will be as good as ours. Einfach fantastich und ein Lob an alle hier.
My wife and I stayed overnight and asked in advance to have a charging possibility for our EV. Though we arrived later evening, all had been arranged and even since the parking foreseen had been taken by another car, the cable had been put to another place, just perfect service. Breakfast excellent, nice view on the garden and surroundings. We look forward to coming back soon. 2 thumbs up
This was a one night stay for myself, my husband, 11 year old son and two chihuahuas. Very nice hotel! I believe it is a four star hotel and prices were reasonable. We paid 17 euro per person for an buffet style breakfast. They offered a little something for everyone, meat, veggies, fruits, bacon/eggs, juices, teas, coffee and lots and lots of bread choices. The pool was nice but wouldn't recommend it for little ones. It's not a family type pool where your little ones can go splashing around without disturbing the other hotel guest. My husband enjoyed the sauna and my son took a little dip in the pool. The parking is super convenient as it is located right in front of the hotel and you need a token provided by the hotel staff to exit the parking lot. Very clean and spacious room. The only very minimal complaint would be the wifi. We were on the second floor and unless we were standing directly behind the door or in the bathroom we had one/no bars of wifi. Again, a very minimal complaint. All in all I would recommend this hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay and they are pet friendly!
Brand new multi-functional facility. We booked it because it was a motel, that is a lodging with parking. There was a large conference in progress when we got there. No problem checking in or with our room. Ultra modern design; highly functional. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, clean, fully functional, fast WiFi, with a pleasant view. The breakfast, though not included was over the top. More choices than it would be possible to taste them all. Six different honeys, six different dry cereals, over eight different pastries, and on and on. Each was tasty, everything looked inviting. The motel/conference center is located amidst a park offering golf, horse back riding, miniature golf, a lake (did not see it) and more.
This was a very nice hotel (read: expensive). I enjoyed the spa room and the fitness center as well as the bar and the driving range. There is a lot to do on the hotel gorunds, and the employees are very cordial. My only disappointment was that the hotel was so far away from the center of town or public transportation. While most of the hotel guests drive Porsches, I had to walk 30 minutes to get to the closest public bus stop. Otherwise, a nice stay.
We stayed two nights in the newly renovated Schlosshotel. Despite its name, expect modern rooms, with a businesslike feel. The hotel has been refurbished but lacks warmth in atmosphere. Rooms however are large, very clean, beds are very comfortable and breakfast is one of the best we have had in years of extensive traveling.Staff are very accommodating and friendly, and make you feel a true guest. One minor disappointment was that we had planned to have dinner on a Saturday night, but were told on arrival that the restaurant was fully booked (an event?) and we had to look elsewhere for dinner. As this hotel is in the middle of extensive grounds and away from a town, we ended up having an (excellent) dinner in Stuttgart, half an hours drive away. No suggestions were made by staff to find another place for dinner, which was a pity. When a hotel sells itself as "having a wonderful restaurant" at least some tables should be kept for guests, or as an alternative, suggestions should be made for dinner elsewhere.
This hotel was the most modestly priced of three we stayed at as we did a 4 day excursion in Bavaria. The staff was fantastic, helpful and accommodating. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful. We travelled with three teenagers. We ate at their café which we found just great. I had a delightful jog in their grounds in the morning. We had a wonderful breakfast which was included in our price. We walked the grounds and enjoyed seeing the castle next door. Ultimately we discovered that I had left prescription lenses. We called the staff who found the glasses and mailed them to out next location. In fact, I intend to next send a message to the staff thanking them for their assistance. They were most helpful and caring. We recommend this hotel without reservation. This is a modern hotel, on the grounds of a historical site, so that was just perfect for our teens, who loved the free wifi access. We came in a rental car and were able to find the location, just off a major highway, very easily.
A lovely hotel, set in beautiful surroundings. You'll need a vehicle to get to the hotel, or the nearest town. You can get a cab. Costs between €15-€20. Helpful, friendly staff. Most speak really good English. Communication wasn't an issue.
