We scheduled a last minute trip to Door County and this was the only hotel left that had rooms. My wife read the previous reviews of the hotel and we both became terrified with our already paid for room, I even bought a set of king size sheets to bring for the bed...lol. Anyway, upon our arrival, we found out all the rooms had new carpet and new mattresses in the rooms. Made for a pleasant surprise and level of relief for our stay. We were ready to change the sheets to our own, but after checking their sheets out, we saw it was safe to use theirs. The hotel staff was more than accomadating in any questions we had and with getting us in and out so we could enjoy our stay. They listened to previous reviews and have made efforts to change it for their customers. Thank You Quality Inn.

Came in later at night turned on fan and smelled up room. Made me wish there were windows in room to open. Breakfast was ok not great. I paid a little extra thinking I was getting a better hotel but it wasn't. Also receptacle covers on wall outlets not on wall real safety concern if I had children with me.

The hotel was very clean. We liked the convenience of having a complimentary breakfast ready in the morning after a long travel the day before. It is at the location where a short drive will give you easy access to many Door County.attractions.

It's a good hotel if you are just staying over night.

The location is great for a quick overnight stay - on our way to a long weekend in the upper Door County peninsula. Would stay again.

Expected an elevator to the second floor; there is none. The lobby is on the extreme North end of the motel, making for lengthy walks from the far end of the building. Rooms were clean. Breakfast area is extremely small, especially when the motel is fully occupied.

We stayed In Sturfeon Bay and drove throughout the Door County Peninsula during the day. Handy access right off the highway. Staff was very courteous.

The location is great, it is located on the main road on your way into Sturgeon Bay. The Service by the staff and the breakfast in the morning was good, even the guy at the desk in the morning looked something up on the internet for me about rentals. The problem with this place is that it is outdated and a little bit in disrepair. I brought my swim suit to take a dip in the pool, but the heater in the pool is broken. When we got to our room, it was freezing, and the outdated heater definitely took a while to warm the room up. The shower too didnt work 100% either. I think i paid too much for what I got.

This was a good location for our trip to Door county and easy to access. Room was quite clean but lacked some amenities, shower gel/shampoo etc that most hotels now provide. Also it looked worn in places where paint was peeling and electrical outlets falling off. There was small coffee maker and microwave and the free breakfast was pretty decent but it was running out at 8am when we were finishing and people still coming in to eat. Room had a musty damp odor running fan didn't seem to get rid of it. Not sure what was causing it. We did hear noise from upstairs and in hallway so walls probably could be thicker. We would stay again for a night or two due to location and yet the price was a bit steep for what we got (141 per night).

We stayed here because we could bring our dog, but the hotel is about a 30 min drive from anything you would want to see or do in Door County. The room was damp and musty, but it was a good value for what we paid.

Staff was excellent, bathroom kind of dirty, mold on ceiling in shower, good breakfast, pretty average,

friendly staff and only thing the breakfast was not that good

We had a good stay on our way north and choose to stay at the same hotel the way home. We were very satisfied.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the hot breakfast was excellent. Good location in relation to everywhere we needed to go. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town.

Although not the fanciest hotel in the world, it is a good place to stay for travelers. It's located just off the main highway that goes through town so if you're looking for a nice place with a water view or want a place to spend a week enjoying the whole Door County experience, keep looking. It is however, convenient to stores, restaurants and other Sturgeon Bay attractions and is a short drive to the rest of the northern peninsula attractions. I would definitely recommend it for business travelers or people looking for a weekend stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal etc. and was as good as any that we've had in hotels in the area. We didn't use the swimming pool so I can't comment other than to say it looked clean and well maintained. An elevator would have been nice so we wouldn't have to lug our luggage up to the second floor room.

Shopped for wine

Our room was horrible. It stunk! It smelled like wet carpeting--I even felt the carpeting to see if it was wet. It was like a damp, musty basement. The shower curtain was also moldy. I never got "used to" the smell. When I complained the next day, the very unfriendly desk clerk offered no apology. He merely asked if I wanted a different room and that's what I got.

some level of uncertainty when a two star. This location was clean and affordable

It is a fair drive to the other towns on the penninsula but for the price it is a good location choice. It was clean and the breakfast was very good. Some room to room noise in the evenings but not a big problem.

I had 2 problems. the sink drained slow and the room had a bad odor. They sprayed the room with a deoterizer that lasted 1 night. We slept with the window open. They never tried to fix the sink. I would like a discount or refund. They stated "I paid Orbitz and they would talk to you". They probablly didn't do that either. Al
