We spent 2 nights at this comfortable reasonably priced hotel when attending a family wedding in Strasbourg. The rooms, facilities and breakfast were all good and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very close to the station and we could leave our bags in a secure room prior and post check in, very useful.

Loved this central hotel. Quiet, comfortable rooms and near to all attractions. Perfect for a short visit to this beautiful city. Breakfast was plentiful. Very pleasant welcoming sraff throughout. Great choice.

Stayed at the Grand Hotel towards the end of September for a wine tasting weekend in the Alsace region. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk from the railway station (we travelled from London to Strasbourg by train) and approx 10 /15 minutes walk from the medieval town centre. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was plentiful. We had a standard room which was of a good size, but looked a little tired and would benefit from updating. Having said that, it was very clean. The wardrobe space was limited, but ok if like us you are only staying for 2 or 3 nights. I would stay here again simply because of the ease of access to all the amenities of the town.

Grand Hotel has had his best days in past, but nothing to blame, it´s worth for the money paid, and every need for a tourist are available including helping and kind stuff. The location is really good opposite to the main railway and tram station. From railway station there is no harm or noise because between the hotel and station is large square/park. So, you can have a room also from station side.

We were travelling with a small group(28) for one week tour in Alsace and Lorraine. The hotel was descent, a bit tired looking: carpets, bed cover, etc. The soap container was empty. It was very quite overnight, despite the large windows towards the railway station. The location is pretty good, 10-15 minutes to downtown. Good start for a walking tour. Satisfactory for one night. Our bus had trouble parking for loading us plus luggages in front of the hotel.

Room was old , tired and well overdue a refurbishment, long net curtain at window was grey at the top with years of dirt and neglect. Had to shuffle around my side of bed as in a caravan due to lack of space. Poor standard of house keeping alround. No restaurant facilities so had to troop round to ibis hotel next door, where food was simply diabolical, when asked for drinks at le grand , staff had to come from reception to serve, then disappeared back and forward to cellar. Please do not use this hotel.

I ahve stayed here few times and who everything about hotel is great the rooms were really old style but this time I was in for a surprise the rooms have been renovated and now are at par with any global hotel although small changes about carpet eta would have been even better but still this is far better than before as always I had a great stay I you want a hotel at Real City Center then this is perfect for you

It's one of the hotel so convenience. We are less than 3 minutes from the train station and less than 10 minutes to shopping area!. Highly recommended. I assure you have no disappointing moment. Around many night restaurants to go to. Car rental also a stone throw away. Parking your car at wooly. Reasonable and safe.

Excellent location opposite the Train Station. Grand old hotel .. modern Reno.. clean and spacious. Super comfortable bed, quality linen. Double glazing.. quiet. Fab breakfast. Polite friendly and helpful staff. Excellent wifi.

I picked this hotel as it was close to the station in Strasbourg. It's a nice hotel but starting to need a little up dating. My room was very clean and there was no street noise. It was air conditioned as i was there in summer. The window had black out shutters which were good. My room was lacking enough power outlets especially for travelers these days needing to charge appliances. the breakfast was good and the staff friendly.
