This hotel looks like a refurbished garages building. You can't help noticing the smell of dampness coming from behind the panels covering the old build. Further the personnel was good, the restaurant could improve price-quality relation. Breakfast was perfect
The room was very modern, with purple and grey colours. Bathroom and toilet had one door to swipe, very special ;) You can always close one room, not both. Bed was very, very soft, a little bit too soft for me, but if you like. Breakfast was promised much but in real not very rich. At every thing, something was missing. We didnt get plates and had to take the saucers for carry the meal. The personal was friendly.
The hotel is nice and clean and in the room is free drinks. Our reason for giving medium grading is due to the aircon did not work and it was very warm. Location for charging the tesla car is perfect. Swimming pool and biking lane to the center.
rooms are good comfort bed is good bathroom adequate and spacy with rainshower and good showerhead seperate toilet cable tv, french and german orientated - no english channels rooms are not fully soundproof, some noises from nearby street and other rooms (hallway) take room at back of hotel staff service quick and friendly breakfast : limited warm breakfast choises (eggs and bacon), which is no problem for me. also other things on offer : limited in choice, but good in quality (and that matters), nespresso coffee machine. nice offer on french cheeses. small bar. close to the airport, need car for entering city center wifi : not for streamin media, but good speed for standard internet use.
My wife and I had an unexpected stop in Strasbourg due to problems with our train journey. Unfortunately our visit coincided with the European parliament being in session so hotel rooms were at a premium. I stumbled across the hotel on one of the search sites late in the evening and fortunately they had a couple of spare rooms. The hotel is about 4km outside the town and the taxi ride was 30 euros. It's a very modern hotel, small bar area but very clean and pleasant. Like the rest of the hotel our room was modern and very smart. We didn't eat there so can't comment in the breakfast but all of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Whilst it probably would not be the first choice because of its location, I'd certainly recommend it if you have to stay outside of the centre.
Convenient for motorways, comfortable room, secure parking, excellent food and service. We have membership card which entitled us to a discount, they remembered us from our previous trips and were very friendly.
How often do you have good surprises when travelling? There were three of us on this trip and we were given an interconnecting room (which we did not request) - everywhere else we stayed we were given a single room. This hotel is close to the A35 but completely soundproof which meant peace and a good nights sleep. The staff were helpful particularly Arthur who went out of his way to help.
Fanatic rooms very modern and clean, and quiet. Dinner; As a veggie, I normally end up with a pasta. Not this time I had an amazing salad and a legume dish that you would just have to try, it was amazing, all recommended by the helpful and pleasant waiter.
We looked for a reasonably priced hotel close to Strasbourg and found the Mercure Strasbourg Aeroport. The hotel isn't far from the A35, which takes you straight into the centre of the city (if you have a car). The area around the hotel looks slightly industrial although in some distance there are a few restaurants and shops on the village's main street. The hotel itself is a few years old but well maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. There was a fridge and all other amenities you would expect. The interior looked welcoming with pleasant colours. The beds were comfy but the synthetic duvet didn't really allow for a good night's sleep. For some reason taking a shower left the bathroom slightly flooded. 14 Euro for a breakfast buffet seems quite expensive but then again, there was a large selection of food on offer. All in all not a bad choice if you need easy access to the airport but not necessarily if you are to stay for a number of nights to explore the city.
Stayed here in November as part of a business trip...same day as the Pope visited Strasbourg. Rate for the hotel is good compared to 90% of the hotels in Strasbourg. City centre is a €20-€25 taxi ride...Staff are friendly and speak good English, so communication is no problem. The room I had was a good size and newly decorated, ground floor and at the back of the hotel, so very quite. Breakfast was bit Spartan, but I managed to find things to start the day. Hotel ideal for the motorway and all in all good experience.
