Amazing fully equipped and stocked kitchen with a sunken living room adorning a fieldstone fireplace with views of Mt. Mansfield and 2 master suites with whirlpool tubs are but a few of the features the Villa offers. The deck is fully equipped with a large gas grill. 2,500 acres of hiking and bike trails, as well as X-country skiing and snow shoeing right outside your front door! Sleigh rides in the winter and horse drawn carriage rides in the summer, gardens, concerts in the meadow, every season is a special gift! Guests enjoy complimentary use of the outdoor and indoor pools, sauna, and hot tub at the resort, along with exceptional restaurants and the famous brewery on property. Stop by the fitness center for indoor rock climbing, fitness room or enjoy the spa! Tennis and pickleball courts are ready for you to enjoy! Guests are 10 minutes from downtown Stowe with all of the shopping and restaurants, as well as Stowe Mountain Resort! This Villa at Trapp Family Lodge could not have been more perfect for my family of six adults. The layout of the villa was ideal. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed. The two porches provided “get away” options for quiet, reading or reflection….just listening to the birds and looking at the mountains provided a relaxing and ideal setting for getting away from stressful jobs. The Trapp Family property had many different hiking trails as well as numerous other activities available. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfy and rooms were quiet. It was all SO perfect!!!

August getaway to the mountains

We were fortunate enough to find this wonderful villa after our original travel plans were disrupted, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The owner was incredibly helpful in making sure everything worked out, and we had an amazing few days at the resort. We’ve already booked to return again next summer and can’t wait to be back! The space is meticulously maintained, extremely spacious, and perfect for a family looking to blend some relaxation around the pool with fantastic amenities, guided tours, and top quality food and drink options all on site and nearby.

Fantastic!! Our new go-to spot in the Stowe area!

This property was amazing and exactly what we hoped for. Being on the Von Trapp resort property with all it's amenities made for a fun-filled weekend for everyone, and the Villa was spectacular! Can't wait to stay here again and again!
