Cozy and staff was excellent, great place for the dog too.

Quaint property with nice views. However that's where the positives end. The fireplaces sat unused as well as the fire pit. The lobby smelled of chlorine from the indoor pool in the basement. The walls are paper thin and every step creaked. Disappointed in the lack of communication from staff after a fire alarm woke us from a dead sleep at 3:00am and kept us outside in the cold for 90 minutes in the middle of February. We still don't know the reason, nor did we receive any apologies. We won't be returning.

The one drawback we found is the acoustics. We could hear the people above us almost all night walking back and forth which was loud. Could also hear the dogs barking across from us. Noise insulation is lacking. Love the lounge and fireplaces. Very cozy and quaint.

The time capsule. Back to the 50th and 60th.

Very friendly staff that makes you come back to facility especially night time staff he was great we were happy to see his smiling face very welcoming they make you feel like you coming home

The views from room were incredible.

I liked the coziness of the place. The nighttime fireplaces were charming.

nice hotel but mattress very soft for me so i have 2 hundred pounds

Sheets were stained, comforter ripped, no fridge, no alarm clocks, no handicap grab bars in bathroom, almost slipped in shower. Stained carpet, baseboard heating unit falling apart, lots of dust on bed posts. Because I complained about sheets and comforter they changed them and gave us free breakfast. Food was awful, cold eggs, only meat to choose from was ham, no muffins or fresh fruit or cereal . At 500.00 for three nights would never stay there again

The view from the balcony was amazing. The inside of the hôtel feels like sterling back into time...there are even trees inside as part of the structure. Truly unique. The bed we had was too soft though...needs an update. The breakfast was nice. Staff was nice but seemed a bit stressed at times. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Perfect romantic get away for couples!!

Really a special place looking over Stowe Mountain lovely staff unique experience I always come back

Stunning views! Everyone is so friendly and accomadating. Close to the mountain and to downtown area. Will be back!!

Staff welcomed me nicely and had a fantastic breakfast on departure. The place is very much country and facilities a bit limited. The bed had s broken box spring and was not real comfortable. Water pressure is low but generally it work well. Good social atmosphere in lobby.

Beds were worn out. Too soft, difficult to sleep ,,.......,..............

Nice, comfortable, clean room, beautiful location. Basic breakfast - had the essentials. No frills. Staff were friendly and corteous.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, per law, when we have a fire alarm we do need to evacuate the building until our fire department gives the hotel the all clear. We apologize for the inconvenience.
