It is a cabin in the woods, not a 5 star hotel. If you want Egyptian cotton sheets, a brand new expensive mattress, 5 star room service dining and mints on your pillow with turn down service, it's not for you. If you want a place that is like your own little apartment, clean sheet's and towels, no long hallways to walk down to get to your room, no noise from thin hotel walls, a place that welcomes your beloved dog, some tranquil peace and quiet, hosts that are welcoming and warm and treat you like family, this place is great! With 4 adults and 2 small dogs, we had ample room to move around and also 2 bedrooms that gave us privacy when needed. The wifi is a little weak, but was strong enough for our needs to run a laptop and 2 cell phones at once. Cell service in this area a not so great, so I suggest using wifi calling. Vermont has a lot of dead zones for cell service, so this just happens to be one of them, no reflection on anything the hotel can change. The kitchen is equipped with basic needs, but you wont be preparing a Thanksgiving feast if that's on your menu. We liked it well enough to book a return trip. As soon as we got home, we learned we had to return to Vermont in less than 2 weeks. We didn't even bother to search for other accommodations, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay when we returned!

A very nice and clean place to get away, away from the city, the noise etc, nice and quiet.

Loved the quiet and privacy! Amazing stay! Very personable and attentive staff. Definitely will be back!

Thank you for an honest and positive review. In the past, my dad not being a big computer guy, we did not reply to reviews or good or bad but we have always read them and now that his son has taken over the business I'd like to start doing so. I am very appreciate of feedback so that we know what we are doing right and what needs to improve. To anyone reading who will later post a review it would be helpful to mention what cabin # you stayed in so that I know where things can use an upgrade as we offer different experiences and No 2 cabins are exactly the same. Thank you very much and we are happy you enjoyed your stay and are coming back. Sincerely, Steven Drill
