The staff were pleasant and friendly, yet professional. The room was well designed, decorated and stocked. The food, especially at The Whip, was outstanding with some items pricey. I ate all meals except one at the inn. The afternoon tea and newspapers were a nice home touch. Comfort, quality in all aspects of the inn. Great location. Wish I didn’t have to leave!

Friendly, quiet, good location, nice hot tub & sauna.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff - a great place to stay!

The common rooms around the inn set it apart for me. I spent several evenings reading by the fire. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. My daughter and I loved tea and cookies in the afternoon. Every staff person was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Truly a lovely way to spend Christmas.

Charming hotel with great downtown Stowe location. We barely moved our car once we arrived, choosing to use the free GMT bus to get to and from skiing. Very convenient! Our room was clean and nice and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely come back!

New conveniences nicely integrated into an old, classics inn.

Loved how everything was in walking distance. How polite everyone was. And the vew was amazing

I am a regular at this property. It's cozy, fitting, and you don't need to upgrade to a nicer room to have a coffee maker and a fridge. The staff is extremely polite. For the price it might be nice to have some sort of breakfast items be complimentary, maybe some fruit and yogurt or cold cereal. That's the only downside for me. Otherwise I've had very enjoyable stays.

Good location in the center of Stowe, across the street from Harrison's a great dinner spot and close to amazing breakfast cafe Butler's Pantry. Helpful, friendly check-in clerk. The property itself is run down and poorly maintained. The hallways are extremely narrow. It's a fire trap. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny and so outdated that it felt dirty. The cookies provided during the tea/cookie social hour were inedible. There are newspapers in the lobby but they charge for them. We cheaped out by staying here and definitely regret it.

Favorite place in Stowe! Super clean and everyone was really helpful. Will definitely be back!

wonderful room, excellent dinner at the whip, enjoyed breakfast 2 days in a row would highly recommend

The Green Mountain Inn is a really nice hotel that is right in town. We had a great time swimming at the pool and being in walking distance to most Stowe establishments.

I'm always nervous staying at the same place twice after a great first experience, but the second was even better. The staff is very nice, the pool and rooms are perfectly clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. Definitely would recommend.

Great place to stay , beautiful pool area! Nice restaurant on site!
