Stayed in a room that was probably the worst I have stayed in the states. The bathroom was exceptionally small shower was about 40” square the total bathroom was very very small no place for toiletries to sit at all. No closet in the room. I would never ever recommend that place to anyone.

Unique place to stay - it was GREAT!

We had a great time at Field Guide Lodge. The room was clean, the common area had so many little spots to gather and hang out. They have a nice shuffle board table and we played and had a lot of fun. This is the FIRST hotel I ever decided to use the shampoo and conditioner that they had versus what I brought with me. They use Lather brand which is a great clean brand. I am now going to order to have at home. Loved the shampoo and conditioner. It is unique, very welcoming, and the bed was super comfortable. Totally would stay here again and highly recommend.

The rooms are not properly maintained. There’s grout missing in the bathroom and poor cleaning/maintenance of the rooms. The rug in the room was so dirty. I had to ask for daily housekeeping and they still didn’t come every day. For the high price, stay somewhere else.

Great location , walkable into Stowe with plenty of restaurants nearby . Great room with seperate lounge and a very large bathroom . Breakfast was OK . One disappointment was that the bar area was not open during our stay only seems to be available over the weekend , a shame for your guests staying outside this time - maybe an honesty bar would be a good idea ?

Super clean and well designed room! Perfect for a romantic getaway in Stowe. Close enough to all the shops and restaurants that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted with no issues. Front desk staff was super sweet and helpful when we arrived and checked out. Can’t wait to be back for ski season!

We had a wonderful Trail House suite on the corner of the building. It was spacious and well appointed with everything you could ask for, including a soaking tub and fireplace. Despite a few negative reviews, we found that the room was extremely quiet (even with the hotel being relatively full), and the interior areas were spotless. The cleaning service was perfect, making sure to replace the bath salts. Our only issue was with the outdoor furnishings on the lovely balcony. The chairs had cob webs on them, and the cushions on the sofa were filthy and unusable. This was a very disappointing lack of attention for an otherwise first class operation. The breakfast was yummy with a fantastic chocolate croissant and a savory leek and Parmesan pairing. The Nespresso machines and the in-room tea and coffee selections were also a nice touch. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked great. The staff was super. They accommodated our early check-in request and promptly responded to our 9:30pm text giving us instructions for our departure at the crack of dawn. The location can’t be beat. Walk to Main St. and a short drive up to Smugglers Notch and Waterbury. Overall a fantastic weekend stay in Stowe!

The hotel has a cool vibe and really comfortable beds. However, our room had no side tables or dressers to put things on and only two small cubbies for recharging electronics, but too small to fit an iPad. There was no counter space or shelves in the bathroom for personal toiletries and the retro fitted sink didn’t drain properly. Finally, the property is not all connected by walkways, so it is a little wonky and you have to go outside to get from the room to the lobby. This was all after paying for the upgrade to a better room.
