The pictures are deceiving and outdated. Staff was really helpful and nice, but the pool was old and not maintained well. There was paint peeling on the walls and rust stains around the room. The water slides and kid pool areas were completely out of commission. Stayed here on our way to an athletic tournament in Appleton, and what I will say is that it worked, but not what I would expect for the cost per night.

The room was beautiful. It was spacious, clean, and provided everything a person could want for a night. I did not use my free drink token but it was a nice touch for a person who wanted to unwind. The room was so quiet, I could have been the only person here. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have only good things to say about my stay at this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, parking was abundant and easy, and the on-site laundry is great. The place was not clean, but since it was fairly inexpensive we could overlook that. The breakfast was OK; not the best but not the worst either. We would stay here again due to its proximity to the chain of lakes and its cost.

The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors, but you get that with pretty much every hotel. The shower water pressure was good, but one of the sinks didn’t work properly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Could be better

When I arrived in the lobby, I was the only guest there. The front desk attendant was working on the computer and didn’t acknowledge me for about three minutes, not even a simple “I’ll be right with you” or “Just a moment.” While I understand she may have been handling something important, a brief acknowledgment would have gone a long way. When she did finally look up, she asked, “How can I help you?” I explained I was there to check in and provided my name and email. I also mentioned that I had completed the online pre check-in, but I was told upon arrival that the property was switching systems and hadn’t received my information. I found this extremely annoying, The property itself could use some attention. I took the stairs instead of the elevator and noticed the carpeting was ripped and dirty. The parking lot also appeared neglected and could benefit from resurfacing or at least a fresh layer of tar. Additionally, I was charged $33.96 for incidentals, which has not yet been refunded. On a positive note, the room itself was fine and met my expectations.
