No real set of instructions for the space

When we checked in, we were told there was a book with instructions on the flat. When we arrived to the flat, there were no instructions. We didn't know what to do with trash, towels or dishes until after we checked out. The TV remote had no batteries, so we had to buy them ourselves. Even then, the cable was a bit difficult sort out. Also, given the relatively few hours of darkness (zero on some nights), we were expecting more blackout curtains. no such luck outside the bathroom. The single bed in the second room was also very small. The couch had more space. Wasn't an awful experience and once the kinks worked out, we enjoyed our stay, but it definitely could have been better.

Did a one night stay in Stavanger, and after hiking this was the perfect place to stay. The flat was clean, had all the basics of what we needed, in a quiet area that was easily accessible to the shops and restaurants nearby.

Convenient location and amenities

Good location within short walk to ferry and city centre. Well-equipped though some of the cookware and glasses needed washing before using as they were sticky. Owner is super lovely - we'd left our passports in the apartment after we had left and dropped the keys in the locked box outside their office on a Sunday. Needless to say we were very stressed but the owner picked the passports up from the apartment and offered to drop them to the airport for us. Champion

Stavanger for a couple of nights...

A very nice place indeed. Ideally located with respect to the city centre, even if it's not in a glamerous part of town! Clean and comfortable, and Tom the host was very friendly and communicative. Highly recommended!

Right by the harbour.

Excellent location. Five minute walk from restaurants and harbour. The apartment was spotless, a bit noisy at times because of the proximity of a bar. Overnight parking requires to go to a parking garage, very close but a bit expensive. The kitchen is well equipped , the grocery stores next door, a big plus considering the prices in local restaurants.We were at the downtown location not the building located on Verven. Receptionist was most helpful.

handy with a kitchen in expensive norway

to eat out in Norway is very expensive, therefore this hotel with kitchen is very handy. the bathroom has a little bit smell, but overall, it was a quiet and lovely stay

Home away from home

This is a great alternative for a hotel. Tom kindly picked me up from the airport bus stop and drove me to the studio. It had everything I needed and was a relaxing place to come back to after a day of meetings. It is close to town and there are two supermarkets close by. The only thing you might miss is the fabulous Norwegian hotel breakfast buffets.
