Booked for a GSU function and only available motel/hotel in area. We got there later in the evening with an early morning wake up call so we weren’t there for very long, luckily. We paid $128 and I can only assume that it was only increased as all the other motels/hotels were sold out. Would not recommend this motel unless you are only staying for a night and they are charging their normal price of $63 a night. The only positives that I have: The staff at the front desk were professional and polite and the linens on the bed smelled clean. It was hard to know where entrance to the office was so we drove around to the back and almost decided to leave immediately, but we thought possibly they were doing renovations, and that would explain the rundown trashed look of the grounds. We had a non smoking suite with a king size bed. Unfortunately, I don’t know if was because the walls are thin but the room still smelled like stale cigarettes. That wasn’t the worst of it. The mirror that was placed behind the TV looked like somebody hadn’t cleaned it in months and I don’t know what was all over it but I’ll leave it to your imagination. The bathroom toilet was dingy looking and the bottom of the toilet looked like it was covered in urine stains with hair. It was not clean at all. The floor was dirty in the bathroom. The walls stained or chipped throughout the room.

Property was acceptably clean and maintained; the beds were adequately comfortable. However, it was a Saturday night and almost the entire motel had been rented by two large groups -- one of which comprised a Mexican wedding. That group had rented the "convention/gathering hall" for their reception and had a great party from about 8PM until close to midnight -- about 75 feet from our room. No sleep possible for us. Complained to management but told that we were jn one of only two rooms in entire motel not rented to members of the two on-going parties, we could have a lte check-out because we couldn't sleep, but the show must go on. We couldn't stay long enough to take advantage of late check-out, so at about 1:45 AM, we loaded-up and left, sleeping in in our car in a WalMart parking lot for a few hours before we had to be on the road. If you think you want to stay here on a Friday or Saturday, probably best to contact the staff to find out if they're partying that weekend. I know they've got to keep the revenue up, but travelers and loud gatherings don't mix real well.

It was convenient for my needs.

Room claimed to be smoke free yet it smelled like cigarettes. It was too late in the evening to try and change the room and it would not have mattered, there were no additional rooms left. The A/C leaks all over the floor and the pillows were extremely small. If it wasn’t for the friendly staff this would have been extremely disappointing.

Great place to stay for a very reasonable rate. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The room I stayed in had hard wood floors. Friendly staff quiet room.

Easy check in even though the place was fully booked over the weekend and I was arriving on Sunday afternoon

Our room was very clean - from the outside it didn’t look very nice. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind. Our stay was unexpected so I wasn’t happy but I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room.

Stayed here for one night to visit GSU. Was leary from the reviews and outside, but room was clean, plenty of space and beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

In from Jacksonville, FL for Georgia Southern home football game. For under $100 with tax, it was an above average hotel room. Charged me $10 more to change from one king to two double than my Orbitz reservation price. My roommate complained to the ac unit was to load when it was on. I woke up with part of my body feeling "pins and needles". The mattress must have done that from the way I slept.

Not the fanciest hotel but good value for the price. Right in town with several eateries close by. You can tell it is an older ediface but has been somewhat renovated. Our door did not close completely and we had been out all day. Nothing had been taken so it shows that the area is safe. The bed was very comfy and no noise disturbed our sleep. We had a minor issue with the toilet but the night manager took care of it right away rsther than calling the hotel's plumber which would have taken more than an hour to fix. The night manager also insisted on making fresh coffee for us both evenings. The breakfast buffet offered multiple options from yogurt and cereal to make your own waffles. We got value for our $. The person who checked in before us paid more than twice what we paid on Orbitz.

Room was okay. No coffee pot with the coffeemaker. No covers for the sofa bed. The plastic was left on the sofa bed mattress so you could hear every time the person moved. Went to check out and waited for someone but they never showed so I left the keys on the counter.

Great hotel to stay in. The staff is very sweet and pleasant and the rooms are nice neat and comfortable!

I've stayed here several times and I will return again. The staff was wonderful, the rooms are always clean, location is good and the restaurant in front has great food and drinks.

For the price I paid. The room was VERY out dated . Inside the room when I checked in was 98 degrees .I took 5 hours to cool off enough to go to bed. I will probably not us this company again! Paul Thomas 770-855-0012
