The property is undergoing extensive remodeling of the lobby and Heavenly Tower building. It will be great when completed. We stayed in the completed Sunset Tower and it is very nice! Comfortable bed, large TV, refrigerator, large bathroom.

The ambiance was loud rock music. Not my vibe. The room was far from lake view. More like squint and you may see water. No amenities at check in if you forget something…. Had a situation with the hot water. Every shower was on the verge of warm. Never hot. Lots of construction. Def not worth the rate they charged

Room seemed poorly cleaned, dog barking next door all night, pool closed for our entire stay, oyster bar stinks up the walkway from the hotel rooms to the front of the hotel. Very disappointed since it switched to Golden Nugget!

I’m deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the Golden Nugget. From the moment I checked in, my requests were repeatedly ignored. Despite three separate calls for a refrigerator on the first day, no one responded until I mistakenly reached security—who eventually brought an old, barely functional unit. I paid an additional $15 per day to upgrade to the new tower, expecting the amenities shown in the room photo, including two chairs and a table. When I arrived, there were none. I called quest service twice—once at check-in and again later—but received no response. Guest services were equally unhelpful. Out of sheer frustration, I contacted the on-site manager Brian, who offered a room change. Instead, I requested the chairs and table shown in the listing. He said he’d follow up but never did.

Great view of the lake, unit was clean and beds very comfortable. Our coffee pot didn't work and they replaced it. The switch on One of the table lamps didn't work. The room phone also didn't work. So suggest that they have someone inspect their rooms prior to guest check in.

Lady that checked us in not friendly at all, didn’t know anything when we asked questions. No soap in room, no answer calling housekeeping. Good thing I had soap in travel bag. No ice in ice machine. Horrible smell in hallway, people smoking marijuana in parking lots. Room ok.
