Location was great walkable to near shopping and restaurants. Since Golden Nugget is in the process of upgrading the property, currently alot of things are in okay condition. We stayed in room 915 and both the AC and toilet were an issue. The AC didn't really cool down and the toilet constantly made noise throughout the night. Looking forward to going back when Golden Nugget is complete with the renovation.

Heater did not work in our room. The phone in our room (which I upgraded) did not work. When I finally was able to get ahold of the hotel, they offered to bring up space heaters and extra blankets. I had to insist on getting a new room. The Nugget was no where close to capacity and if I wanted a new room, I had to come down for the key. Every other hotel I've stayed at has sent bell staff with a luggage rack and new room keys. Stay very very very far away from this hotel.
Parking garage was un-usable for my taller truck.
We checked in at the evening of 2/15/24 a man was in front of me, he was visible to the side office and we waited for about 10 minutes before a woman came to the counter She asked me for credit card and says that she was going to take a deposit. No, parking of $20 nor a resort fees were mentioned. When we checking out, 2 fees were on my invoice Room I got, temperature meter was about to fail off, so as toilet seat. At night, room temperature went up to 76'. With 2 dogs it was getting too hot for them. And there was no way to open the windows. I also asked for 4 extra firmed pillows, pillows were not given. I mentioned it on the following day, no pillows were provided. Till the third day, we got the extra pillows. On the second night, I went to the front desk and told them we really need to, 1. either have a window could be opened, or2, temperture could goes lower than low 70th. A lady called Mil ( Later on confirmed Milapros Vepa ) was very very helpful, she spent time and relocated us to a room with doors be able to open. She changes our entired views for this staying. Thank you Mil!! We appreciate Mil very much for listening and understand our situation

The hotel looks different that before! The room they assigned us, was to warm and the air system was off and even though was warm and very uncomfortable weather inside. But thy changed our room ti another with a balcony and this one was so confortable. Thank you!!
Other than two issues, it was good experience staying at the Golden Nugget. Our first issue was that the closet sliding mirror doors almost fell out. unable to slide the 2 closet sliders. Had to remove one for safety and to access the closet. Second the coffee make was inoperable. As for amenities, there is no microwave nor refrigerator. As for the bed and pillow, no complaints, very comfortable and clean. As for the room, no complaints, very clean and no smell. As for the interior of the Hotel, very clean too. We did enjoy the convenience of the parking lot, mostly it is covered for those cold nights in Lake Tahoe.
