Underwhelming experience except for the lady server at breakfast (who was great!). Small rooms, old and worn furniture and upholstery. Poor lighting. We couldn’t get comfortable overnight due to the ancient heater - either endure a hot blast of warm dry air without a temperature control option, or freeze in the cold if you turn it off. We could hear the next-door neighbors clearly and I don’t think they were being loud. Breakfast at 9 was cold.
Sleep Inn is a comfortable, clean, no-frills place to spend the night. The fact that there's no bath tub may be off-putting for some but it didn't bother me any.
Visited the area on a busy (summer graduation) weekend. Hadn't previously stayed here but chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced, had vacancies and was close to town and campus. Not a fancy hotel, but it was fine for our purposes. Continental breakfast was so-so. Room was clean. A/C was a bit noisy, but being on the second floor we could open the window. Convenient parking.
Bed and pillows are great... we slept well. The hotel is also very close to the venue we visited.
Pleasantly surprised by this little place. Had a nice ambience to it. Also, breakfast was pretty good compared to most free hotel breafasts.
Very nice rooms. Staff was very friendly. Clean and breakfast was great!
Great location. Reasonable rate. What else can I say?
The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean, but for the price I was surprised at how uncomfortable the beds were. I understand that part of this is preference, but I am usually able to sleep anywhere, and I have slept in much cheaper hotels and have slept much better. I recommend bringing your own pillows and something squishy to put under you, because the bed was extremely hard and the pillows were too uncomfortable to sleep with. Other than that my stay was great and the inn was very close to Penn State, which was convenient.
Nice hotel close to the campus of Penn State and I got a great price
The staff was uniformly excellent courteous, very helpful, friendly, professional.
Motel was very nice, comfortable. The AC in the room worked well. The TV was good, and plenty of electric outlets / charging ports to keep devices charged. The only disappointment was the Breakfast. It was edible and plenty, to bad it had little taste. Eggs/Sausage was of the frozen style. Danishes were stale.
We Stay here all the time while visiting our daughter
The room was very neat and clean. It was close to the University, restaurants and entertainment. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.
The ppl at the front desk was very nice I would deff stay again...right by the university
We stayed here for one night for a college visit to PSU. The room and bathroom were very clean and in working order. The continental breakfast was reasonable. The location of the hotel is within easy walking distance to Penn State campus.
Clean room. Good value for cost. Will return and stay again.
Lobby and breakfast are just fair, but the rooms have been updated recently and each room has both a fridge and microwave, which I like. Good location, tends to have low rates.
While the lobby and breakfast are just ok, the rooms have been fixed up. Each room has both a fridge and microwave which I like. Also tends to have very good prices.
The staff was very friendly; the room was clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay here again when in the area.
Room was nicely furnished and maintained but was claustrophobicly small for two.
