Madeira Bay Resort - Marina View
We ended up having a nice stay but had some issues with the condo. First - when you walk in there were a lot of marks on the walls. A quick coat of touch up would go far. Second, the lack of wall coverings. Just a quick stop at your local Marshalls or Home Goods would do wonders. Third, at first glance it looked quite clean, but once you pull back the covers, I found a hair in the bed, the bunk beds only had a bottom sheet and we had to remake the bed and getting up early, I found a cockroach on the counter. Fourth, The Living Room sofa and chairs weren't that comfortable and should probably be updated. And if you want to cook there, the pots and pans could use an up date and the silverware could be of better quality. ON a good note, The view was fantastic - quiet while sitting on the deck. If we were on the Gulf side, it would have been much louder. The location to the Gulf was perfect. A very short walk to the beach to see beautiful sunsets. Paul in the management office was very nice and allowed us to have two parking spots, which was helpful once our son arrived. Overall, the place was nice, just needs some TLC and updating.
