Steps to the beach, literally!!! No elevator!!! Cleanliness. Staff attentiveness. Nice swimming pool with beautiful setting. Gary, the "jack of all trades" person who attends to every need!!
This little hidden gem was immaculate. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. If you want the best stay, get the upstairs beach view. Worth every single penny! I am sure to return again!
Hotel Sol was small, clean, and close to restaurants and shops. The fact that it was yards from the ocean made it a nice place to stay.
Unique - Extreme care to property, guests. Also, BBQ grills for guest use, beautiful landscaping in courtyard. Gary riding the property on his Segway!! Also, sheltered veranda adjacent to the beach for lounging, eating, etc.
Excellent to walk out to the beach! Room was not big, but clean, updated, and efficiently arranged. The wall might be a bit thin and I could hear every conversation outside my door/window.

Loved the location. 40 steps from our room to the sand. The chill atmosphere of Redington Shores was also a plus compared to the crowds in Clearwater. It's not a chocolate on your pillow kind of Hotel, but the staff is friendly, the pool scene nice, and the plentiful availability of beach chairs with an option of shade or no shade a bonus.
